This is not the first time I’ve encountered this missile when it shouldn’t have hit me. It hits me both at antipode and when I’m notching or 3-9. And the missile always hits my plane, meaning it doesn’t explode somewhere and shrapnel me; no, it just hits me right in the center of the plane. Is that normal?
you’re not notching.
edit: my bad, didnt read the stats on the missile. OP should move a lil more
He did notch. He did not change direction to avoid IOG
Demokrat, the game told you what happened in sensor view. Missile gets immediately put into DL+IOG, you do not move to avoid IOG, you get relocked
Also, you are slightly too hot and turned into the missile. You should have turned left slightly.
Pls change directions next time, usually a pull up or down there helps to take you out of the FOV
Multiple problems, first of all you were flying straight and level which means angle gating got you.
Okay, thanks. I’ll take that into account.
I also tend to ignore the Antipodes. It’s a bad place.
Definitely is for you - people here care for others.
Whatever, don’t let the spiders get ya.
No spiders worth worrying about in the Antipodes sunshine
Massive skill issue. Literally all ARH missiles in game share the same set of doppler filters, doppler speed gating, and angle gating values. All of your beliefs are formed through confirmation bias, unsurprisingly.
Any other ARH would have done the same, you can see the missile switches to IOG+datalink after you enter the notch. Also, it appears that you didn’t chaff at all…
