I disagree, but let’s agree to disagree. Sharkstat is alright but I’m going off when I play the game at certain brs there’s definitely leans in which nation is better.
Since the new Pantsir is so good at intercepting munitions, you would just need one player in it to intercept any incoming HARMs with relative ease.

isnt it like 90 missiles with the ammo crate for munition interception. even a full blown mode 3 brimstone 2 is rather easy pickings for how its been done in game
If you run a full load of the drone missiles yeah it’s 90 with the box.

Statistically speaking Russia has the most nuance with layered air defense in game. It has short, medium, and long range options and they usually come in singular platforms rather than multiple vehicles.
with the volume of missiles that can be spammed its honestly incentivised to keep the enemy planes alive so you can farm more munition intercept kills over the length of the match. deleting a full salvo of brimstones or other missiles that were made for saturation/spam will add up well
Almost forgot the cherry on top. You can’t multipath/fly under activation height with it’s top missile. Now remember the maps we’re playing on.

TBF that also means that they need to keep LOS on you, if the map has a hill you can escape easier. most of the time FnF or SACLOS doesnt make much difference.

I wonder how gaijin is taking this thread. Probably looking at it right now and thinking “we need another anti air, the new pantsir is underperforming, bring in the s300” love how they look at the Buck as underperforming when it’s actually outperforming other SAMS that should technically be better

That’s true, but what is it’s acceleration to mach 5 time? I don’t really know, but have a number of 2 sec in my head. I mean the only real way of engagement with this thing is nLOS and you can’t do it either because it’s just gonna intercept anything you’re throwing it’s way.
Experimentally I figured out that fairly effective engagement distance with this thing is 2km. It really depends on reaction time of sv player, but i digress. 2km just to engage 1 spaa, which also puts you into it’s gun range and, well, everyone else’s.
UPD. 2km if it doesn’t expect you there.
