i know what kind of person are you
lol the claws couldn’t eh? Now you’re speaking some non sense.
And the pansir only “dominated” in range. You could over G the pansir missile so easily
keep in mind with that last paragraph, people were already asking for ARMs. At a time where CAS didn’t even need it, which again, supports my point of CAS players always wanting to be on top lmao.
Like what were the need for ARMs then versus now.
So USA and russia having the toxic CAS but they said buff russia fk Japan, Britan, Israel, China, France, Italy, Germany, and fk Swedish meatballs. Fk the africans and the austrailians, the venezulians, the spanidards, the thailand etc.
Well remember, this was at a time multi-vehicle SAMS were just being added and the whole BUK craze was going on until people realized it wasn’t good on the current maps it had to operate in.
If i can get CAS more than likely I’m clapping cheeks already. They can increase the spawn points but really a good player will get their plane in the air eventually meanwhile someone not helping cap or defend is spawning a broken SPAA beginning of game with 70sp and a dream.
ah I see
Well like I’ve been saying. Gaijin acknowledged then CAS was an issue, but you can see by their last answer in that Q&A CAs players still didn’t care about the health of the envrionment if they were already asking for ARMs.
So it’s a snap back to reality moment when they discover something challenging that
The most “advanced” SAM system they’re referring to (in late 2024) is the Pantsir S-1, which they’re pretty much saying got powercrept over time. So if it got powercrept, everyone else was just suffering at that rate.
It’s untrue about helicopter as minimum. Their stat on statshark was pretty bad before ldircm and new FnF. And I’m pretty sure only rafale and su30/su34 had really good stat vs ground vehicles.
I 100% agree, this is a game first and a semi-realistic simulator second
Gameplay and balance should have a higher priority than historical accuracy
The game isn’t all that realistic anyways and Gaijin loves to leave out functionality of modules, parts and weapons in a lot of cases:
- No leading/ranging assistance for non-radar SPAAs (WW2 SPAAGs had optical rangefinders and sometimes additional tools to actually hit planes somewhat reliably)
- No ACLOS for most SAMs (not to mention a lack of leading assistance to off-set the fact that a lot of SACLOS and beam riding SAMs love to waste energy because of them being basically MCLOS with mouse aim)
- No dual-plane maneuvering for missiles
- No regenerative braking
- No proper ECM on planes (closest thing we have is very basic IRCM)
- No proper implementation of Electro Optical seekers on missiles or EOTS on planes
Those are just some of the more obvious things that have been skipped or maybe even deliberately left out and there are hundreds, if not thousands of issues regarding historical accuracy of a large portion of the games vehicles
Could also be the fact of Dagor engine limitations for some of those. (I think that’s the engine they’ve been using since 2013?)
Dagor is mostly for the graphics and physics, I am fairly certain that not a single one of the things I listed would somehow be affected by the engines limitations
It’s a 2002 engine that has been updated a lot since its’ release btw
Hopefully with this they realise they need to release Anti Radiation missile asap
They’re most likely accounting all the data from early 2023 into 24, to 25. Very unlikely they just went off just a years worth of data, as CAS has been an offender for way longer before the Rafale got added in December of 24
Spike/PARS armed helicopters were an issue even at that time
Just because their stats were bad doesn’t mean that they weren’t problematic
If their “solution” is adding ARMs, that would be a huge sign that they have no idea how to balance the game properly
(Me waiting for them to uncompress the maps to solve some issues)
Game sure wouldn’t be a “point and click adventure game” as some like to call it if you had a reason to use your LRF on most MBTS.
