I find it overall becoming more about CAS with better sead and better SPAA to counter the sead instead of being tanks vs tanks battles and I’m afraid that soon enough MBTs and so on at top tier wont matter at all

Not really, you can gimmick the aim assist on controllers to look onto helis through tree lines to kill them, its most consistent with the regular 95Ya6 of course.

i think the main issue is the SM-SV is a jack of all trades. it can do literally everything
spice bombs got added to a lot of nato aircraft in large qauntity and the SM-SV has 48 TBK to deal with the munition
LDIRCM helis (AH64E) are performing really well it has SACLOS missiles to deal with that easy making NATO LDIRCM helicopters useless against russia
the 95YA6M can deal with any NATO cas jet with ease
all this on 1 single platform with smoke grenades to neglect missiles incase it doesnt intercept them (it will)
and the fact that there is ZERO nato counterparts to it because the BUKM3 was apparently “not good enough”

I heard a lot of people saying the Buk was a massive tk machine lol
not to mention the 30mm to deal with heli rushers or jets going for a gun run which was the best way to deal with a BUK.
imo the SM-SV is a very clear bias/favourtism/babying to russia when they already had a good aa system

Gepard goes through things it likely shouldn’t like commander hatches and so on.
Oh and Gepards get APHE, not AP big difference

The Buk is the only ground to air weapons capable of hitting any planes in no less than 15sec after they spawned.
Buk is by far one of the most efficient multi-vehicle SPAA in the game.
“I heard” is the part of sentence that make every post that start by it useless
