We don’t need new SPAA, we have top of the line SAM systems for literally every nation, they’re just gimped beyond belief and are functionally useless because they’re ARH.
Exception made for IRIS-T, but that still can’t hit helis.

Iris T gives you a chance Pantsir SV does not.
i have grinded russia but i have stop playing the top tier because with the addition of BMPT and the Pantsir sm its became a lame situation, the BMPT should never had gotten into the game because its from the tanks that you cant balance, and the pantsir sm wasn’t needed but its welcomed as an spaa because the think i hate the most in this game is CAS ( i play cas too but i hope we had 2 game modes one with planes/helis allowed and one that they are not)

Well, if they were to abstract things at the Datalink (e.g. via the IBCS C4I) layer, there would be potential options in the AN/RPS-42 (MHR hemispheric array) and a number of other systems that could provide a counterbalance by being a distributed system of systems and cumulatively provide similar coverage.
Sure but what we do need is someway to provide similar capability to other trees, or otherwise mitigate it’s particular strengths.
And there really aren’t many viable options due to gameplay limitations.
Component team with SPAA, was able to stop some but at least we know whose having fun at top tier. USA gets not long range glide bombs but what does it matter?
Nothing gets in the fking airspace anymore NOTHING might as well just push and camp spawn all game instead of J’ing out for some fun.

Typhoon is 3 nations top tier CAS aircraft.
It has 6 Fnf muntions and laser guided Brimstones.
You have no chance against this

Idk tbh, if it was a normal SAM, pilot 8/10 times would of just multipathed majority of the missles (per usual) lob something and fly away.
It’s a very odd situation right now.
Which I guess tails into people wanting multipathed nerfed, but that’s a whole new debate because that would heavily effect top tier air
8 F&F munitions that is limited to 1M speed release which is pretty gimped considering Typhoon likes to fly at very high speed.
Meanwhile other planes that has F&F munitions enjoys much higher release speeds.

Stop acting like you know anything about Typhoon and it’s A2G potential.
Because agaisnt IRIS-T or even Pantsir S1 you could dump all your Brimstones forcing the SAM player to try and kill you or the munitions.
Now Pantsir SV can kill you, take a nap wake up and then shoot down your SPICE or Brimstones
You would be surprised, doesn’t even matter the plane really at that rate.

Which most times would end up with the SAM dead and the offending plane on top in most instances, it’s very heavily map dependent and most maps as of current do not favor the SAMS in any way, especially the Middle East.
I don’t because I regularly play my German/UK AESA Typhoons at top tier.
Any decent SAM player, especially IRIS-T and new Pantsir will basically deny air for you.
I’m calm. I just don’t like it when people make clueless claims.
They aren’t clueless, I’ve watched and dealt with enough pilots to know who the smart ones are that know what they’re doing.
and as I said, it’s heavily map dependent. Most maps do not favor SAMS and only select ones do.
