Since pantsir SMSV was added, none of these sound op. Yes it doesn’t match the capability of the SMSV but provides some sort of iron dome defense at least.
I don’t have high hopes for this

As I said, west went a different route, Russia went a different route.
Like think about it for the BUK, an AESA radar that can still lock and track without the main radar vehicle and still fire. U.S has it all separated to different vehicles because sure I guess

Some of those are mounted on ethier stupid big platforms, or are stationary
Skyguard Skyshield can be mounted on Boxers (Skyranger? Don’t remember the name for the vehicle) and both the MLBPWS and HSVD/ADAMS are mobile systems
(MLBPWS standing for Mobile Land-based Phalanx Weapon System, ADAMS standing for Air Defense Advanced Mobile System)

I think what hes trying to say that despite the Mi28 being more effective, Apaches can still spam hellfires, hover over helipads, rinse and repeat.
Regardless if its worse than the Mi 28, its still opressive. (All helicopters are)
i wan’t saying it was better overall but the pros of the puma has compared to the BMPT, like what the PUMA has thats way better, that the BMPT didn’t, not saying the PUMA was better overall

i dont get it - tell me why is the LMUR “biased”? like the only heli in USSR can get 8 max and the AH-64E gets AGM-179 JAGM-MR (IR) air-to-ground missiles and 16 of them but no one really says thats bias?
