The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

I’m sorry but that is just objectively not true. At least not if you compare them with NATO tanks. Apart from the T-80 series all of em have an absolutely horrendous reverse speed of -4. That is literal walking pace.

I won’t say Russian MBT’s don’t have their strong suits, they do, but mobility is most definitely not one of them. Make a mistake, push out a little too much, and you’re dead meat, whereas a NATO MBT still has a chance to make it back behind cover.

Edit: not even all T-80’s get the better reverse either. Models with the diesel engine suffer from the same awful transmission.

Dawg you’re on literally every forum post about something russian being overperforming talking about how its not actual overperforming.

Here’s an easy solution why dont we fix all the other spaa so IRCCM missiles can actual hit helicopters, and Radar missiles get returns off of the Rotor blades of Heli’s that way everyone has viable top tier spaa in the new era.

Okay, can we stop with the whole finger pointing and personal accusations?

This is not the thread to do such things

now compare the size of the weakspots to russian weakspots…

no… reverse speed is the only issue but when you only need to press w to win it aint that of a problem

on that I agree with you only su-34 and sm3 with 4 lmurs and it would balance a lot

you could with the pantsir but it only had what 8 or 6 missiles
irst is more comparable to buk and others ;)

I agree no matter what spaa but now do it vs 6 mavs coming at you with an flarak rad… any launcher with only 2 missiles
or do it with adats which has more missiles but can’t shoot 4 at once like pantsir…

pantsir can do it in what? 10 seconds and done?
adats can only do 1 at a time… same with ito same with any other SACLOS (not other type of spaa) but now other spaa have what? 8 amramms and 4 aim-9x? then reload while new pantsir has 40+ missiles this is half of enemy team using mavs to make it bleed out ammo -.-

Oh hey, my exact take in those topics you referenced. :)

Me when entire LFP is a near guaranteed one-shot because the ammo is placed right behind it.
Or what about the same weakness as the Jumbo Sherman: A terribly badly armoured side that will basically let anything through at almost any angle?

Do you have any concrete proof for this statement? Because to my knowledge Soviet/Russian MBT’s cannot simply “press W to win”, they aren’t nearly that invincible. See me comment above.

P.S. It’s 2 at night for me so I won’t be replying to any further comment for a good couple hours. Gotta get some proper sleep.

PROOF???

the proof is the win rate at top tier and hwo many posts are of people complaining that you have russian teams fully engulfing the spawn area sometimes as fast as 5 minutes of gameplay

and yet russian tanks are the the most jammy when it comes to their era and magical ability to absorb spall. the only guaranteed frontal shot is drivers port meanwhile western tanks are completely disabled from the lfp, while russia has a chance to survive and if a rounds loaded you can respond and kill the person who shot you. Its nothing to do with skill, russian tanks are the easiest to use in the game.

“Win rate is not evidence of vehicles being OP or not.” - ThunderSkill, Statshark, statisticians.

Win rate has 32 factors of players with different skill levels ^ >2 factors for helicopters and planes, then there are squadrons trying to meddle with win rates of their own vehicles as a factor, maps that players perform better/worse on, etc.
Win rate in ground RB is so muddied as data that dirt is easier to see through.

But if you really want to cite win rate, cite ground arcade, where the only factors are player skill and maps cause every match is mixed match.

Edit:
Is the 6.0 T20 OP [under-BR’d] because it has a 62% win rate in February?
Is the PzH 2000 over-BR’d because it has a 36.6% global win rate in February?

but win rate does a lot when it comes to mixed RB battles… somehow one nation does better then the other… it makes people with less skill have better stats because the game alowes them to have it…

throw in a med player to us tech tree and then to russias gues where will he do better ?
I wonder why there are multiple posts nagging about russians and their stuff in game but only a few going against other nations? why this post has 400 replies in few hours when it comes ot the russians spaa? guess what… blatant favoritism… now add the spaa with the best cas and you have a deadly mix with easy to win setup -.-

Fury, people claim the Gepard is OP. Sat at a 37.6% win rate with 0.93 global KDR.
Perhaps it is OP, perhaps it’s just good, perhaps the win rate actually matters [win rate doesn’t].

How many times have you gotten in a missile SPAA and seriously contributed to your team’s success? Like >3 aircraft destroyed.
If I were a guessing man I’d say you could count on one hand if you got any.

I can count 1 - 3 times in Pantsir where I helped my team by dealing with 3 - 7 CAS platforms.
However, I can count over 10 times with PGZ09 where I dealt with 3 - 7 CAS platforms.

I’m not a great SPAA player, I’m likely barely above average; but playing SPAA does not help my team unless the enemy chooses to spawn CAS.
If an enemy team just never spawns CAS, I am dead weight in any of the top SPAA, without exception.

And I remember countless, countless battles trying to spade 2S6, and Roland 3, and Pantsir where the enemy team just never spawned CAS, and every single time they didn’t spawn CAS they won because they had at least 1 more useful player than my team, and I was that useless player on my team sitting in my SPAA just trying to spade it, seeing no planes for 5+ battles straight countless times.

That experience, that understanding, is why I do not support complaining about SPAA.
SPAA is the worst vehicle to play in the game, it’s reliant on enemy players getting enough spawn points to spawn CAS, then instead of choosing to spawn significantly cheaper tanks, to spawn their extremely expensive CAS instead…

So yeah, instead of complaining about the worst to play vehicles in the game, I’d much prefer helicopters get fixed so they can be locked with what they’re supposed to be locked by.

YES BUT WHEN YTHE ENEMY SPAWNS A CAS YOU SPAWN A SINGLE NEW PANTSIR AND YOU DENY THE ENTIRE ENEMY CAS LINE WHILE YOUR OWN CAN CAN DECIMATE THE ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM ARE YOU REALLY GONNA DAMN IGNORE THAT ?? 5 PEOPLE TOLD YOU HOW MUCH YOU TRY TO GASLIGHT AND HOW YOU BLATANTLY DEFEND RUSSIANS AND IT IS SOO OBVIOUS… my god you really get on my nerves i really will listen to advice of others and just block you since you really are daft

@Fat_Fury
I’m talking about SPAA vs CAS gameplay.
That is not “Russians”, that is not “Pantsir”.

Me calling out the OP nature of helicopters is not “defending Russians”, it’s calling for Mi-28NM, AH-64E, and Z-10ME to be modeled correctly for IR, and ALL helicopters to be modeled correctly for locking onto with radar missiles.

LMURs [And JAGMs, and Z-10’s missiles] would be infinitely less of a problem if rotors were modeled correctly so radar locks can occur, and LDIRCM was modeled correctly so Tan-SAM Kai’s IR missile, and IRIS-T could lock them.

They should just remove the M missiles from the new pantsir
The 48 TKB are fine for a 12.7 since it can just lock down the airspace

I don’t think your take in the the bvm suffers in close quarters because it has small weakpoints has anything to do with this one lmao.

Me: “T-80BVM does not suffer in close quarters.”
I may have pointed out T-80BVM’s weak turret, and of course idler wheel is a massive weakspot in close quarters that all tanks have, but no tank “suffers” in close quarters except the ones without good reverse gears.

Tried using the f18e new agm and they the new spaa shot them within 5 seconds on me launching them lmao, this dude got 8 air kills in 5 minutes and killed over at least 50 ammunition in the same period…

adding a spaa no one can defeat from CAS is a problem because they’re backing up teammates using khs spam and lmur spam… one pantsir sm-sv on the ground and one su30 in the air the entire enemy team is cooked

Hmm. Reminds me when that German flak bus came into the game.

How the tables have turned.

You’re playing a game made by Russians. The same Russians who make up stats for their vehicles whilst refusing video evidence of nato/chinese vehicles to correct their stats in game.

Nothing new really.
