The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

While 8x LMURs being easier to intercept than 16x AGM-179s / 16x CM502KGs is true, the Mi-28NM doesn’t have to deal with the Pantsir SM-SV, which any experienced player can use to defeat the AH-64E / Z-10ME in most engagements.

The key difference is that the NATO SPAAs can ONLY deal with the munitions, whereas the Pantsirs can go directly for the root of those munitions – the helicopter itself – often with great success and very limited risk (especially when only talking about the SM-SV).

They should also return fixed-wing airfields to be more similar to the ones in Air RB.

Remove airfield as from closer airfield,
Add new, protected airfield further away so that event affected still have room to manouver behind enemy spaa (protected by proper SAM sites)
Let nukes spawn on close or far airfield (depending on player choice)

This would actually allow aircraft to have the option to repair/re-arm safely while sacrificing time to battle and stop occurrence of accidentally stumbling upon enemy airfield because there is no proper warning

Don’t forget that any non SACLOS or beam riding missile shot at the MI28NM is subject to fail. Add a couple of mountains and it’s next to impossible to ever hit it.

I just want to chime in and say that the SMSV is literally the best - this thing is an absolute monster and makes swatting any air a piece of cake. The 95Ya6M almost teleports to targets and you can pretty easily intercept air as they spawn, the TKBs make munition catching fun, and you get smokes if you somehow mess up. Honestly have no idea what Gaijin was smoking when they added this thing to the game (the S1 still bodies almost every other AA in the game already) but having access to this + KH38s + KH31s + LMURs in one nation is super bonkers. You also don’t have to worry about managing 3 different vehicles AND you get guns to defend yourself, what a dream.

Almost feels like playing a PVE game as long as your team isn’t full of low-level 1 death T80UE1 spammers.

Stop spreading this “muh dircm” narrative, the mi28 was nerfed, so were LMURs with a broken guidance

I don’t think you get what I’m saying that a radar guided missile going up against a helicopter near a mountain is not as effective as the panstir with insanely fast missiles preemptively launching a rocket with no radar warning since it can turn it off. DIRCM is only a small part of helicopter and honestly could still use more nerfing.

I specifically bring SACLOS or beam riding missiles for helicopters with the most effective being tank with proxy rounds plus optical tracking. mI28NM simply don’t have to worry about panstirs like most nations.

Ok?
It’s still stupidly op
Can intercept any amount of IR missiles while also achieving impossible angles of coverage

Both 12.7, seems reasonable.
