Im still so confused on how they believe the AMRAAM-ER which has the booster of the RIM-164 ESSM (launched from VLS) but the seeker section of the AIM-120C-8 (somewhat smaller than the ESSM seeker section) somehow affects the range so much and the speed so much as to decrease the range of 60km to 40km and the speed of Mach 4.5 to Mach 3
