The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

Maybe, maybe not. The base Pantsir we have is not the upgraded one in the video, and I believe that version doesn’t use the new main missle. Unless they decide to do the 2s6 style of a radar upgrade modification.

Even if the U.S got more advancecd stuff, I don’t see it changing much of anything in top tier. The maps are just too small for it to be meaningful

Mm, the topic is going off-topic again.

It’s not off-topic, “Russian bias” is written in the title.

Which majority of it goes to maintenance.

This is categories of your thinking in what we are thinking is different militaries will order things what they think usefull for them for different reasons and if American Army doesn’t think they need triple charge HEAT believe it or not they won’t ask for it.

Are you using photo where relict didn’t worked as proof of 3BM42 can go trough relict as if it worked ?

This has no point like if you hit same spot in the game relict won’t work this proves nothing.

And ? Why they should build thing that they don’t want.

As far is it goes they prepared for war with Iran approximately 50 years and results are not optimal.

As I’ve stated countless times now, my topic is meant to be used for discussing the disparity is CAS between nations. I have said multiple times now that unless the discussions y’all have particularly pertain to Fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, SPAA, or their respective weaponry, then this isn’t the topic for those discussions.

Please only discuss the relevant topics everyone, thank you! Again, the revenant discussion in this thread should pertain to Air Support and Air Defense only if possible.

When you finally got sands of Sinai and now you are the hunter:

can you show me? never seen footage of it

Sure you can say that but NATO hasn’t focused on ERA as a form of protection, so this claim is far fetched. They still utilize ARAT ERA.

Where are you getting Russians with triply layer Russian era? The only places I’ve seen that are on youtube to demonstrate how effective stacked ERA is, but Duplet already exists which is actually supposed to very effetive against tandem charges too.

Again, NATO did not focus into ERA protection.

The only nation you can look into with terms of ERA is Israel, since they utilize SLERA and composites on their tanks.

Anyways to rail back on topic. Gotta love the new youtube videos absolutely glazing this “new” tactic. Where CAS comes in from high altitude at a verticle angle most SPAAs radars can’t even properly see.

I think this Pantsir is the only SPAA in-game with a 90degree vertical angle search radar, so when people try these top down attacks in the very, very small blindspot, you end up seeing them, lock with IRST and they’re dead. Maybe against the average SPAA player this won’t work, but someone who actually pays attention, it’s a waste. I’m not saying this is OP, because this current tactic tehnically undermines all the other SPAA that can’t search completely vertical.

Seeing your missiles hit so quickly, makes me so jealous, I play the CLAWS btw.

ARAT is M19 tile, there are also M32 ARAT II Tiles, that add on additional protection to the modular system.

“MR DATE: September 2004”

No. M829A3 was designed to be able to deal with the Object 640’s Kactus tiles, which are similar to Relikt, in construction. -A4 was developed in response to the fact that the T80U / T90’s improved upon the underlying UFP array of the T-80B so needed to perform better to restore the effective Combat range for overmatch purposes.

Lmao

Matter of fact no, Kaktus was exclusively in relation to the Objecct 640, which there’s barely any information on in regards to the ERA.

The limited range of 20kms of the base missile added with its slower speed makes it pretty subpar in the current environment.

This missle allows the engagments of helicopters much faster (that are insuffrable from any nation) and allow for much quicker reaction time of fast moving aircraft in general. (everything only gets faster)

It definetly isn’t overkill, as that was the next upgrade over the base missile anyways, it wouldn’t matter what Pantsir variant.

At this point in the game it really isn’t hard to outrange the base 95ya6 and drain it of its energy. If the average CAS pilot isn’t braindead, I find it to be pretty underwhelming.

Well, removing the fast missle won’t change the fact most SPAA still can’t effectively engage fast low flying targets (multipath). If it was to be removed, there’d have to be compensation made somewhere.

Helicopters are insuffrable as usual and left unattended is an annoyance.

Nato is always gonna be fighting Nato so they gotta deal with their SAMS not being able to handle saturation attacks from their own planes.
