Well, we probably will never know how they came up with the numbers or what sources they could have used
glorious 4 missiles vs the 6 su34s spawning 15 seconds into the match
2 trucks tho
glorious 8 missiles vs the 6 su34s spawning 15 seconds into the match*
the fact airbase defenses can’t already do missile interceptions tells me gaijin isn’t competent enough to make that work.
glorious 8 missiles vs the 36 Kh-38s that the Su-34s would launch right after spawning in
Nah, definitely C-RAM
Adding some more to the stack:
Haha, now they’ve moved him from game-discussion to the machinery-of-war-discussion that nobody watches, just like with the BMPT before, hahahahaha, so funny
how about sprint

(yes its silo launched but still would be fun if added)
one of the most rushed and inaccurate planes in the game btw.
Irl it doesn’t have Irbis or AL-41, (it can get Al-41 in game since a few SM2s have tested them and mass Al-41 integration is planned to start soon with SM2s).
But it’s also missing it’s 14 extra flares, which was bug reported in the dev and still hasn’t been touched.
Gaijin quite literally took the basic SM, did some surface level research, saw a few news outlets say “Al-41 and N035” and decided “yeah that seems about right” and pushed it into the Dev server.
That is not entierly correct, as the 95Ya6M does not have a lower limit, as long as you have the target locked, it will be triggered even on a target on the ground.
Slightly worse at best
You don’t really even need to have the target locked, i’ve lost lock before about 1s before hitting and it still exploded (behind a mountain btw)
i think i remember someone said that top tier multi SPAA is fine
i present to you Type 03
Type 03
with just Chaff! it’s completely immune to missile!
here’s the replay code if anyone want to verify
Except the US/NATO Do make such systems. They have quite a few even, Gaijin just hasnt added them with the same old response of “needing adequate counters” its the same BS reasoning they use to justify not adding Python 4 even when every other 4th Gen IR missile is now in game. Stating that when they do so they will have to add the R73M (according to Smin) in order to keep balance. (This is in addition to the fact that the only tech tree that would get primary access to these missiles would consequently be the least played in the game) The US and NATO have many systems designed to intercepting munitions, for starters Germany could get thr SkyRanger which would excellent at the task, Isreal can get Iron Dome, a combat proven system in the realm if intercepting munitions in large wave style saturation attacks. America could get a number of systems most notably the CRAM likely mounted on a trailer. Or a similar trailer with an adapted RIM-7 Sea sparrow for tjr same purpose.
You’re mixing ARB with GRB… and tbf the current 4th Gen IR missiles (AIM-9X/IRIS-T) are just regular 3th gen IRCCM missiles with longer range and DL and TVC… nothing more
Please don’t make me laugh…
All for it, but bouth are extremly close range and the CRAM will run out of ammo very fast… basically nothing will change.
Do you mean RIM-162 ESSM? Because RIM-7 is pritty old at this point and it will be DOA
