The Pantsir-S1 BR is too low and should be set at 12.7

Because in game it is.

“Only”.
So, what actually happened over the last few months that caused the Russian queue to become three times larger than all other nations combined? And why did they suddenly start respawning so many times, while players of other nations started leaving after just 1 or 2 deaths?

Or did it all actually start with the Su-34 and Kh-38? Then the LMUR? Then the BMPT and the ‘free’ Pantsir (S1)? Then the SM-SV? What has any other nation received during this entire time that is even remotely EQUIVALENT?

what do you mean, in the game the entire ammo from the vehicle seems to be stored in the extra ammo magic box bcoz you hit the atgm tubes with HE and theres no chain reaction whatsoever maybe it disables one or two tubes and when repaired nothing seems to have happened to the ammo itself, the cannon munition belt if detonated from turret should injure the two guys sitting right next to it, successful penetration on the grenades should destroy a huge chunk of the side ERA and injure the closest guy next to it, etc etc

can we rename WarThunder to PutinThunder already?

Russia Thunder

Russia has 25647392 good MBTs to spawn, NATO has 2-3 paper on tracks :)

To be honest, Russian MBTs are mediocre. (The only thing I actually like about Russian tanks is the speed of the T-80BVM). Except for the BMPT, which is broken as hell. They win because of the CAS + AA + BMPT combo.

From my experience, if it wasn’t for the BMPT, the Type 10/TKX would be the most fun tanks in the game. Unfortunately, the BMPT just wipes them off the map in a matter of seconds now.

Yeah it is what I said. In game the ammo on the bmpt is stored ina different dimension and only returns to this one once it is fired.

Iris T, ah64e, jewish f15, grippen, im sure china or japan gets kh38 as well. Also how is the bmpt an issue in top tier

I guess its counters are spread around multiple nations which is an issue but to say there aren’t any is dumb.

Also what do you suggest they do balance russia?

Ah yes,the BMPT that doesnt explode.
I even got onetapped in turret by XM246

Which happens so rarely that it’s not even countable at this rate.

Yeah, it is at a bare minimum a 12.3 SPAA, but could easily be 12.7 with even the slightest bit of decompression by moving some of the strongest SPAAs (which include the other Pantsir) up to 13.0.

Yeah man I’m sure China gets KH-38/s

Almost every nation has access to LDRICM helicopters and unlike Russians other nations had to search entirely new helicopter just to get access to same feature while owner of MI-28NM players only had to grind LMUR’s and LDIRCM automatically added to their helicopters.

Which still to this day has inaccurate radar and basically helpless against any LDRCM helicopter unlike SM-SV.

Which as to face most broken SPAA system while Russians can freely launch fictional 38MT’s from safe distance while not bein limited to Mach 1 release speed.

Hmm idk, maybe because its so busted every Russian players also uses at top tier as well?

Jeez Louise…

It happened my past 5 deaths in row. Or being hit thru track and having ammo explode,or get onetapped thru the drivers hatch.

And? Just because you got unlucky doesnt mean it happens regularly.

Maybe cause i play with it so i have first hand experience?

There is actually an official patch note about the probabilities for the BMPT’s “”“exterior”“” belts to explode.

I think it is currently around 15% (so nothing). You can check the note

You have to be completely blind to say that. The T-90M and T-80BVM are infamous for absorbing shots through their sides, and even the T-80U and T-72B3 (which I honestly don’t understand why was moved to 11.3) are excellent MBTs at top tier. I have no idea where this crazy argument came from that Soviet top-tier MBTs are bad.

Anyway, if everyone only played tanks, that would be one thing. The real problem is when Gaijin adds vehicles where you can simply hold W and farm kills, like the BMPT Terminator, or other extremely strong light vehicles such as the 2S38 Derivatsiya-PVO and BMP-2M (I use these vehicles myself at this BR with great success). With them, it’s very easy to earn enough SP for aSu-24 or something similar, and then you have anti-air systems with 10–12 km range, often without even needing a gun.

But when you play anything other than Russia, you struggle just to earn your SP, only to face an anti-air system with 18 KM OF RANGE. Eighteen kilometers of range! How can anyone honestly say that this is equivalent to the ITO 90M?

The Pantsir-S1 should be moved to 12.7. It is perfectly capable of competing with the more modern modular anti-air systems. What makes no sense is having to use laser-guided GBUs against an anti-air system that, until recently, even Dassault Rafales, McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagles, and other top-tier aircraft struggled to destroy.

The IRIS-T, like all multi-vehicle AA, is most easily destroyed by flying in low and shredding it with machine guns—something you can’t do against the S1/SMSV. + IRIS-T missiles are susceptible to countermeasures.

As for the AH-64E, it takes 2–3 JAGMs to kill a tank, whereas one LMUR is enough. Plus, the fact is that the SMSV intercepts all AGMs. And then later, they launch a hypersonic missile straight through all the trees and snipe you right at the helipad :D"

Furthermore, what do you even mean by bringing up the F-15 and Gripen? Because of the Spice 250? Are you seriously comparing the Spice 250 to the Kh-38 with a straight face? You’re comparing a supersonic missile to glide bombs that require you to fly at Mach 1 to even drop them? (Especially after the recent silent nerf, they do worse damage than the AGM-65 unless you drop them vertically onto tanks). But then again, even a ‘free’ S1 won’t let you climb, while you can fire a Kh-38 even while flying horizontally from 10+ km out—and 99% of the time, it’s a frag. That is the case when you’re flying Russian planes. Believe me, I’ve played both the Russian Kh-38 carriers and the Japanese tree, and the difference is massive. (Except, of course, for those times when the Russians are on your team).

First off, quit dropping all this OP garbage whenever you want. Did the RU tree seriously need the SMSV and the BMPT? Ok, nvm.

Second, replace the ‘free’ S1 with the TOR. As for what to do with the SMSV? Hell only knows. I doubt it was even necessary at all. One option would be to remove the TWS mode.

BMPT: Rework its accuracy to be realistic. (There is footage showing the cannons shaking side-to-side, yet in-game they fire with laser accuracy). Remove the ammo box so it can’t carry unlimited ATGMs and belts.
Well, that’s all for now.

People only say they’re bad because, “much hilly terrain” as if half the maps at top tier are not city maps (Sweden, Breslau, and Rhine) or has a major part of the map flat and in a city (Sands of Sinai, Tunisia, Normandy, and Poland), or even allows clear sniping spots from spawn (Pradesh and Ardennes).

Pansir s1 had or still has the most bugged radar in the game idk if you have ever used that thing.

Good thing it gets a better dircm and double the missile count then

It literally doesnt matter, all spaas can shoot every a-g ordenance down either way. kh38 or spice you just have to adapt and be lucky on how many spaa are around.

If they sponge a sideshot they lose the autoloader and become useless. Leopards did and still do the same shit, but atleast now they cant fire back most of the time
