Same applies to Pantsir,if anything is perpendicular to you when its also close,the missile wont pull. Besides i´d be more worried about Mamba than Pantsir when it comes to being deadly.

Mamba is plagued with bugs (sometimes won’t fire) and the good old multipath, as well as incorrect loft trajectories and drag
That being said, it should of course be decompressed and go higher, especially if said problems are fixed
These 3-truck SAMs are usually Meh anyway, because you now have 3 trucks to manage, all as high as a 2 floor building on a 1.5x1.5km map

Yeah, and the Roland is basically just a Pantsir-S1 on tracks, with worse missiles and shorter range.
And the M163 is also basically a Pantsir-S1 — except it has no missiles and only a cannon.

The GAZ-AAA is just a Pantsir without a tracking radar. The Skink is just a Pantsir but in Britain. Oh, and don’t forget the FlaRakRad, it’s just a Pantsir with the loading of a tank destroyer, and no gun or bulletproof glass that sometimes can deflect .50 cals.

Yeah, I agree on most accounts, it’s a decent vehicle but 12.0 is a good place for it, only 4 mavs, and once again, Mavs (the dog doo speaks for itself) and 2 9m as your best FnF load out isn’t amazing
I usually bring 2 Mavs and 2 2000lb GBU for multi Sam, it’s definitely more of a support CAS than a dominant case plane

It definitely isn’t the best CAS at 12.0 / 12.3, but it’s a great multi-role… especially with the number of countermeasures you can take.
It can win against most planes in a dogfight, which is a lot more common in GRB because of how low you have to be to the ground to avoid SPAA.

Only issue then is that you can’t bring BOL with anything but Aim-9, tbh though, the BOL isn’t great anyway and the cm you get built in is usually enough

Have you ever tried fighting a pantsir in a harrier ? Paying for a premium that simply suffers 90% feels horrible.
Harrier GR7, many times.
The GR7 won almost exclusively until Pantsir’s missiles got a fix in later 2024.
Now they’re pretty much identical for each other.
You must be playing against absolute troglodytes if you think the Pantsir is equal to the Harrier lol

A lot of people skip over the small things that make the Pantsir so good, like the ability to launch on multiple things at once (with some limits of course) being undetectable on launch by the majority of RWR, 85 degree search radar, and having 12(x2) missiles to use on interception of munitions and aircraft.

You don’t need over 30 degree scan for radar if you have over 25km of range
Depends on the map, if there is a mountain near you u sometimes have to play 85°
