Nah the nuke plane is completely fine as it is, it should not be able to just end the game with no ability to counter it. This is coming from someone who has over 450 nukes, you can drop them just fine how it is. Dropping nukes at top tier is hard, you need to clear air and work with your team in order to use it. This in my opinion is completely fine.
If you get a nuke, it usually means you have carried the team. It’s, from my personal opinion, quite unlikely that they’ll keep the air clear, not even mentioning the IRIS-T SLM, which in many maps can now simply spawn kill the nuke plane almost before it actually takes off.
We don’t need gen 4 planes with full air to air loadout. However I think getting flare capable variants of the current nuke planes is necessary above 11.0
The Jaguar did use to get those flares, but were removed, I guess to have some parity with the flareless su7
