I think the increased damage models is a step in the wrong direction but dont think that feedback matters much.
is it bad to prevent a flaming wreckage from slinging a missile at the one who shot them? Idk, I feel like it’s fair
I think adding them without revisiting repair timers is the issue. Repair timers need a scaled reduction. Also, the batches release of them instead of just waiting until a majority are done seems lkke a weird decision.
I have no idea how repair timers work, do they count the amount of damaged modules or something?
Didn’t know the Air Force has F/A-18’s…
The radar of this F18 aircraft is placed on the left DDI. According to the tradition of the US Navy, the radar is usually placed on the right DDI. Placing the radar on the left DDI is a traditional practice of the US Air Force.
Ahh, that’s what you mean!!! = )
Yeah, the pages have always been assigned very strangely to the Hornet’s DDI’s in WT - and so many valuable ones are missing (yet)…
When do we get propper radar MFDs for all top tier jets? In my Eurofighter i can easily tell if something is friendly or hostile by the color on the mfd… in my J15 i need to squint my eyes trying to see if that has a line above it or not
prob it’s just a copypaste like the J-15T radar
Looks good, also need improved external damage models too
This is what War Thunder makes so great, the infinite Enthusiasm to the smallest Details ♥. Great Work keep up doing so, thank you
I don’t want another F15 to stock grind into 12 AMRAAMs in pure 14.7 pain, especially with its weak ass TWR and radar
Doesn’t look the same so nah
There’s 3 possibilities:
- They just messed up their research
- They felt lazy to make many models so they just made this with in mind the idea of reusing for future F-15s (weird since they gotta make the F-15A/C model too at some point)
- They’re genuinely gonna give us RMP this update (unlikely considering what Smin said)
Does this mean the F-15I or the F-15Es?
mmmh…

Yeah lol, the precedent was already set🥲
Gaijin also doesnt model redundant systems so aircraft that could normally take a hit or two and still able to fly become completely disabled by the smallest things. This issue really shows with how the new modules are implemented in helicopters.
Not to mention how awful it makes playing certain ground vehicles
Doesn’t the F-4E still use the F-4C’s cockpit? (Despite having an F-4E cockpit on the F-4F KWS)
Yep
