Yet none is as strong as the BMPT… Not even remotely close.
EBR was stronger, by far. 2.7 BR changes to become balanced. That was EBR.
A faster AMX-13 put 2.3BRs below AMX-13 initially.
BMPT is no where near as OP as EBR was. This isn’t my take, not my opinion.
Even the most extreme demands of BMPT at 12.0 is a 1.7 BR change.
The issue is, with the compression at top tier, 1.7 is just as great of a gap as 2.7 at lower tiers. Afterall I was full ARB mode when EBR joined the game so I didn’t quite get to feel the OPness of it, but from impressions I think a light tank of its calibre can be quite OP but it’s still a light tank. Also which EBR?
There is no compression at top BR ground, if there was M1A1 and Leclerc wouldn’t be 1.0 BRs apart despite being 98% similar in performance.
Bringing up claims of compression makes your argument worse, as there are far more people with reasons for 7.0. Granted there are zero reasons I’ve seen for top BR ground being compressed.
Just reasons given that argue some tanks are over-BR’d.
IF u argue there is no compression then fine, I can not agree with that, and there is to me absolutely 100% compression at 11.0 +.
Also the skill required for BMPT is soooo low that I have seen literally level 1 players getting 7-8 kills in GRB. The fact that a premium tank is holding a 2.0 KD is ridiculous.

I think I’m right in saying many of us are extremely disappointed in this decision, we should have been told this outright from the very beginning to avoid such a pointless debate.
If the model needs to be changed to incorporate a later engine, I don’t believe anyone would have an issue in waiting for that to happen, rather than waiting for the exact same plane to return in the next update with upgrades so slight they are not worth another 420,000rp grind.
All of this controversy and discourse could have been avoided if we had better communication from the developers but I highly doubt that will improve any time soon.

I sincerely hope I’m mistaken and misreading that announcement since it can be read in different ways.
Either the J-10C engine is correct as is and they won’t change it since it takes time and its not worth it when a (late) J-10C can be added instead.
Or the J-10C model is going to be changed to one with a later engine but not for a while.
Given Gaijin’s usual decisions I assumed it was the former, here’s hoping I’m dead wrong.
You only misread it slightly. The statements given so far are written in a way that gives plausible deniability and vague timelines.
Here are the official statements given so far:

These statements never promised an engine change or a model change, just stated that if they were to do an engine/model change, it wouldn’t be anytime soon. They said there are planned changes but have not committed to what those planned changes are or when, they also did not refuse an engine change either.

Yeah actually good point, same as CMs always replying with “we currently dont have plans of introducing XYZ”.
If it doesnt come - well they said exactly that.
If it does - oh you know, plans change.
So pretty much a response without a response. Understandable within corporate logic, yet still useless.

i just hope they dont add another j10c just for the new engine because who really wants to grind another 420k rp j10c late just to have a different engine and the same exact loadouts and avionics

PL12 are already kinda bad since it lacks kinematics and it doesnt help that both j10 struggles to get at speeds above mach 1.1
and with the new su30sm2 it makes it 3 times worse

Yup, and if there’s something planned and it ends up being changed or canceled, then oh well it’s not always possible to update the community and everything is subject to change.

All aircraft have been repaired, but three weeks have passed and the J-10C is still awaiting maintenance — it has been completely forgotten for a full three weeks. With this particular aircraft, enemy targets that are under stable radar lock will suddenly disappear from the screen without warning.

If the development team wants to replace the WS10B for the J10C, all they need to do is change the aircraft number and modify the engine to WS10B. Your statement only indicates that the development team is merely stalling for time and has no intention of making any changes. Moreover, this number is meaningless. The SU30SM2 directly equipped the AL41F, which was never installed on the aircraft. The drag of the J10A/C is outrageously high, yet the development team does not pay attention to player feedback. They themselves filled in the values and know exactly how much they have increased the drag of the J10A/C, but they still argue that the players’ unpacked data is unreliable. This is truly ridiculous and only shows that the development team is maliciously targeting the J10C.

They stated the model for the engine is different and thus that would have to be changed, it’s not changing the aircraft number. Also, the developers are on holiday and so it’s a bit unrealistic for all of these changes to come right away.
the vacation may be over ,so when will the bug of radar on j10c fix and ur changes will coming
