Perfect diagonal shot with obviously lined up driver-gunner-commander getting knock out by spall. But hey we need artificially buff Abrams survivability.
Look how little of the tank you see before his aim is on you. Look how you’d need to go through some composite, plus fuel tanks, plus bulkheads, plus driver, plus turret basket. That’s all GONNA EAT SPALL RIGHT?
Look how much more of the tank you see before he has his aim on you… Look how his crew is in the zone of death. Now keep in mind the red spots are behind the fuel tanks so you don’t need to worry about those even eating spall…
The turret isn’t even facing you and the commander, gunner, and turret rotation gets taken. It’s almost like composite and fuel not being in the way insured more spall damage occurred… Like I was saying. But don’t take my advice complain if you want. That was just my take on the one clip.

And you have like 0.3 seconds to react to something like this, there was only so much time to process lol you technically asking him to wait longer for the abram to “expose” itself more and shoot later but if he had wait 0.1s then he wouldn’t even able to shoot as the abram would have shot him first?

Literally told him to position himself closer to the wall before he even peaked the corner… It would’ve given him MORE aim time. His issue isn’t reaction time, it’s positioning (and maybe aim? But personally I think if he got a better angle he could’ve made that shot. I do this 24/7).

If you want to make your life harder don’t complain… If it’s “Just enough” do not complain. Just like how I used to complain about T-80U and T-90A doing the exact same shot you thought was “just enough”. Hardly ever it is… You must MUST maximize your chances and minimize his but whatever I guess.

You can’t even see the tread/track… You aimed for COMPOSITES. Look at where the drivers port/head is… Like I SAID. I even have clips of this very angle vs my angle. Guess which one took the Abrams out?

I never said that the shot against the M1A1 was good. I said that by moving closer the hard cover, and thus closer to the Abrams, likely would still end up with a dead T-80U. At that close range all the abrams has to do is hit the UFP anywhere with M829A2 and it’ll go straight through.

Oh absolutely, getting that close to an Abrams in any T-series is a big no-no.
