Not exactly MBTs either, but thats on me for not specifying.

From the context of original message its clear hes talking about 120/125mm gun armed tanks

Fair enough but I still think those 2 should count considering they basically do exact same job in battles as mbt but with extra markers. Its not like they have infantry to deliver or team relies on their much bigger spotting range (like in other games).

Id argue them having less pen than most, if not all MBTs vastly limits angles and ranges they can engage stuff and as such i wouldnt bundle them into same category. Not to mention armor limitations that are IIRC even weaker than paper thin Arietes.

Point is, sole 120/125mm gun armed MBT that outreloads Abrams is the type 90/10 family and they sacrifice a lot of other stuff to get that 1 second advantage

Then that guy is wrong indeed. Or he just counts all type90/10 copies as multiple different tanks lol

Not to mention that outside of specific scenarios you would be better off in Abrams with slightly slower reload but having actual gun handling and armor.

What is currently happening with the highest Abrams is a festival of pathology. Direct hits to the barrel do not damage the barrel, shrapnel damage or the projectile itself is pure RNG, you never know if shrapnel/APFSDS will pass through the crew member without harming him or the projectile decides to bounce off some internal armor (for example, 38 mm, for example, near the fuel tanks, can magically bounce off APFSDS). I won’t even mention that what happened to the Abrams models is also a joke. Overpressuring an Abrams is theoretically possible, to put it mildly, even the top Swedes are not that durable on the roof. I don’t even want to comment on what they did to the hull armor in SEPV3. Shoot it yourself and you will understand how absurd the generation of shrapnel in an Abrams is. The Abrams’s “A3” projectile, on the other hand, is so powerful that it destroys the crew member even if the shrapnel flew 30-40 cm next to him, because its shrapnel ignores even the gun breech… it literally goes right through him. Currently, the top of the US The tier 1 is unplayable, especially when you look at the US aircraft and helicopter CAS. The situation is literally the same as when the Leo2A7V was introduced, where it also ran broken for weeks before they graciously fixed its shrapnel generation. Top-tier B was unplayable then, too. Not to mention the fact that the current 12.7 needs to be raised to at least 13.3, top-tier fighters to 14.0, and top-tier helicopters to 13.7.

I always wonder how it is that when the Russian “X” machine is broken, too powerful, unrealistic, or whatever, half the community screams—salt to the snail, but when NATO is broken and unrealistic, everything is fine and everyone stays quiet. A 5-second reload? Yea, very realistic xD. We’re introducing it because it was visible in one video. xD The community’s hypocrisy and the pursuit of quick, here-and-now profits will lead War Thunder to where World of Tanks is now.

*mach 27 actually

You’re nuts.

Pen was better, but had less armor that was a point and click adventure for the t64 AND also had a 7.5 second reload.

Was not heavily weighted towards the mbt/kpz on any planet.

It won based on mobility and that was it. It had worse armor, slower reload, and a slightly better round.

You didn’t even play back then. I’d rather listen to good players who’ve played the game for more than a decade, like cavenub.

Cool dude. But the vehicle stats didn’t substantially change aside from round pen.

So nice try, but my point still absolutely stands.

Try and argue on basis of fact and not “my skill so big”.

No idea what you posted since youtube doesn’t work for me.

No, I won’t explain.

Got anything else? Or you good and we can both move on with the day?

Sure. KPz/MBT were MUCH more mobile, had better reverse, gun handling, gun angles, secondary armament, smokes, reload, round, and arguably armor because of old damage models.

NINE POINT EIGHT SECONDS on the T-64A.

Okay hold, up on release it had a 9.8 second reload?
