The new Abrams is too OP

Implying that’s not a notable benefit?

M1A2 Trophy is one of the few true counters to the BMPT’s, that alone makes US top-tier well suited to the current meta.
It’s just a shame that the US teammates are still absolutely awful and that they’re mostly dominated by M1A1 HC (anime), M1A1 Click-Bait and M1A1 AIM players with account levels barely higher than their IRL age.

Few days ago I checked one of my teammates’ stats cards and found their M1A1 AIM sitting on a 4 - 46 K/D ratio. I would not be surprised to find out they didn’t even know you can enter the gunner’s sight. Those are the players we have to deal with.

T-90M Arena has fewer matches on record than the M1A2 SEP v3, yet the SEP v3 has a higher K/D by a significant degree.

K/D is only applicable when the point made is against Russia.

I am not even humoring this drivel.

Unfortunately, they can say it’s incorrect, but with what actual info we have on the shell, it’s closer to correct now rather than before, so… gg I guess, and as I said in my first message, at worst, it’s off by like… 10mm of flat pen, which is my personal guess as to why Gaijin isn’t too keen on changing it as of now

wouldn’t be the first time Gaijin’s hallucinated ammo performance, M829A3 is the most recent case.

I find this so ironic when arguing with those people.

11.3 BMPT has high average K/D and WR

Its OP!!!

SEPv3 has high average K/D and WR

Nah its still bad, its just the skilled playerbase

While its partially true, its undeniable that it is the best top tier tank now, and is incredibly strong.

What’s weird about M735? It seems like a normal APFSDS round? Right? Well… not really, you see for reasons I am still confused about, the US army decided to adopt an elongated teardrop design for the core of their first tungsten alloy APFSDS, this is an absolutely awful design for a few reasons I’ll state right now.

First: when an APFSDS round impacts a fairly angled plate, it ejects a lot of of mass from its nose, as shown in the simulation below:

And you may notice the problem, the largest part of the alloy core, is at the front, which will be ejected, and wasted…

Also, having a rounded nose rather than a flat nose means it will more easily deflect more mass from the nose on angled plates.

It gets worse, as the round continues to penetrate you may also notice the core tapers off, this means the further along the rod gets the smaller the hole will become, and subsequently the less shrapnel it will have when it penetrates…

M735 however long ago it was, was nerfed not because the documents were “fake” or whatever rumor they perpetuate on Reddit, rather it’s just not a good round, and a really odd design for APFSDS, no wonder it was phased out so quick lol.

I’m pretty sure however the US designed it like this to save on tungsten and also decrease the amount of pressure the gun would need to exert to shoot it, decreasing servicing. So the minimum needed to penetrate Soviet tanks at the time was used, and I suppose by that effect it did its job and wasn’t terrible.

Even if it was very quickly outdated

Tbf, you can’t really compare arcade and realistic stats, they are basically 2 different games

You can’t make this up.

We’re at the point where I’m seriously wondering if the average age of the M1 Abrams playerbase is 3 years old. They just drove past me with not a single care in the world for anything going on around them.

How. Are. They. So. Bad.

And yes, there were two more enemies after the clip ended in the same direction, at which point I died 2v1.

I don’t think it’s OP, I think it’s the new meta, there has always been a Meta vehicle and I think it’s just the Abrams turn to shine until something stronger is added 🤷

I am fairly certain they’re either bots (kinda goes for the entire US tree at this point) or they play with no audio.

Came across another shockingly bad teammate, and I do mean ‘‘This has to be a bot’’ levels of bad teammate, and this player card popped up:

I don’t understand why you’d install a bot on your PC that plays a tech tree vehicle all day long? And how’s it not been banned yet?

I’ve seen the same kinds of players down at 6.7 so it has to be a trend with the tree. I don’t know why it would be so popular with botters.

Account will be sold on the chinese market

Untrained first time British Abram handlers vs veteran US mains who have used it or a while is not always a fair matchup

More likely that more multi nation players went for the US version as the US got the SEPv3 + trophy + M829A3 for all SEPs at the same time. Britain in the mean time got the Australian SEPv3 along with a big nerf to all their Challenger 2s.

Veteran US players are not that good lmao.

Maybe time to remove the reload buff.

But then some people will complain about not outreloading every other MBT besides one at top tier (even if they’re currently saying it doesn’t matter and the tanks bad actually)

There are multiple tanks that are faster than a 5 second reload, and a majority now that are 5 seconds, the M1’s reload has not been unique for a while now.

Personally I’d not care about a 6 second reload if the M1s actually got functional hull armor.

Reload speed is 10x more important than hull armour though, that’s like willingly trading someone your Ferrari SF90 for a Fiat 500.
