The most annoying country to fight against

Okay so I’ve been playing this game since like 2014.
And there’s one thing I’ve noticed the most.
Which is: Russia is the most broken and annoying country in this whole game to fight against at every top tier bracket it had. It started with the zsu-57-2, then the PT-76-57 then the premium t72 and 2S6 and Ka50, then the BMP2M change, then the 2S38, then the T-72M2 Moderna, then the Object 292 then the Pantsir S1, then the Buk-M3, and now the Pantsir sm-sv and BMPT’s.

And in the meanwhile air didn’t stop either, take the Su-25 (which is still better in game then the A-10, HOW), then the mig-23ml (that one wasn’t thaaat bad tho) then even more su25’s, and then some su27’s, Su-34 and the su30s. all of them can carry the best missile in the game, the KH38MT. And if that’s not bad enough, they can carry a lot of air to air and air to ground ordinance as well. They can literally take of from their airfield in ground RB, fire the KH-38ML’s at the enemy’s spawn while using GNSS, and those things will still hit. While on the other side there’s the beautiful AGM-65’s… A missile so useless it cant even 1 shot most of the times, it can only get launched within a short range, they are really slow and can get intercepted easily.

Then at last, the helicopters…
It started with the Ka-50, a helicopter that broke the heli pvp game mode and was the most annoying heli at the time of introduction. Not even now there’s a single heli better at that BR range than the Ka50. It had a stupid damage model and you could fire a dozen rounds through it and it would still kill you and half your team before crashing. Then at some point they decided to fix it, by giving it modules. Best idea around the Ka50 in a while, but obviously they had to give every other heli modules as well, so it’s still the top dog of its BR to this day.
And now there’s a new boss in town, the MI-28NM. The LMUR slinger, with (obviously) the best fire and forget missile at top tier (they do like to give Russia the best missiles don’t they) it one taps most of the time while the other fire and forget missiles forget where to even go. and gooood luck killing it, no missile can hit it except mouse guided ones, and i know that every other heli has that as well. but they can easily be gunned down by a jet, but good luck doing that against the MI-28 with its 30 MM gun that still hits you from 3km away while the apache gun struggles to hit a jet going head-on with it…

I can still give reasons why every ground vehicle that I’ve mentioned is broken as well, but that will make this way to long.

And of course every other country has had good vehicles, but that was like 1 or 2 maybe. And some countries still lack at every department (Italy…) But we can all agree that Russia has the best stuff at every top tier bracket that existed, and It’s getting worse and worse with each update they make.

So Gaijin, what I’m wondering is. When will you notice the existing problem and fix the issue. Russia has always been an annoying country to have as your enemy, and trying to solve it by giving every country a SU-30 isn’t going to cut it. Balance the existing vehicles like you do with every other country.

Make it make sense to play nations outside of Russia.

This was a long rant, and I’m sorry for the people that actually read it all the way through. But I’m fed up with Gaijin looking the other way on this topic, or making jokes about it in crafting events or on Instagram.

This is a game about military vehicles and having fun playing it, get the game back on track like in the early days, please… And i’d love it if people actually started fighting against Gaijin because of this nonsense, and if not by talking, then by showing. I’d love a good review bombing again, cause this is getting insaner and insaner by the day.

And yes i know that Russia has a meh win rate, but that’s cause people play badly, they gain the upper hand. then they die and spawn a heli or a jet, and then at some point there’s no ground forces anymore so the enemy wins by points. That’s not because Russian vehicles are bad, but because the players using them have to much broken stuff to play with in the air.

Yeah okay it’s faster, but it can also be way more effective in every other department than the A-10

In terms of CAS, I would say A-10A late is better than the regular Su-25, but Su-25SM3 is def better than A-10C

The cycle be like: Initial batch of OP stuff released (2S38, Ka50 etc) —> more ppl play it —> average win rate drops with bad experience for players —> but since the majority play it, we release more OP stuff so the win rate shifts back —> more ppl play it.

Russian top tier is the most forgiving nation to play in, most of your vehicles aren’t the best in its category but its the better ones. And Its generally easier to use

MBT with limitations (reverse gear, reload, depression etc.) but good armor makes it easier to tank a shot and fight back.
For this part, people kept saying T-series are the worst mbts and its the opponent with skilll issue, this is only true if we going 10/0 in a match without being hit. Remember, any shot you tank with your hull in a T-series, meaning if you are in a nato mbt (with exception of Leo2A7 or STRV 122) you are a sitting duck.

For the cas part, 6 super sonic KH38 is just more effective with your average player than all these slow IR bombs with 1 mach release limitations, giving the enemy less time to react. 8 LMUR (One of kind LOFT value btw) with almost guaranteed kill compared to 16 inconsistent AGM179, meaning less time to stay up in the air too.

Do I even have to mention the BMPTs, Pantsir and Pantsir SMSV?

how is a 2A7, SAMP/T and AESAPhoon lacking

maybe half of those I’d actually agree with

“TURMS AV/BMP-2M/2S38 OP” was a forced meme, AV especially that thing has always been mid

It’s the Pantsirs that really dent NATO CAS, they’re not worse plane for plane (unless you’re US)

Because thats one singular top tier MBT while the Ariete’s still suck major balls. AESA Typhoon is good but I dont see how you can use it when a competent Pantsir player will kill you way before you get close enough t o kill him. Don’t know how the SAMP/T performs, but I guarantee you it isn’t anywhere near as effective a the Pantsir.

How tho, the su has really good ordinances and a more usefull cannon than the a10. Especially the latest a-10 is useless with it’s high BR

Yeah but with the T series the, armor is crazy strong in comparison to any other country. It’s Mbt’s are smaller, has smaller weakspots. Are really fast in forward speed. You really need a +600mm penn round to be more useful against a T tank. And for some reason when shooting a side of a T80bvm straight on, or at a angle which would’ve killed every nato tank, a t series literally soaks a top tier dart.

Ofcourse it lacks reverse speed, but does it really need it if it can push towards your spawn within 2 minutes and beat you cause you’re trying to aim for tiny weakspots on a fast tank while it 1 taps your barrel or breach.

And indeed, the BMPT is a OP vehicle, same for the pantsirs, especially the new one.

But every other ground vehicle i talked about is better than their BR counterparts. And by a long stretch, some lower tier tanks you can still be really useful with in top tier. Good luck trying to do that in NATO vehicles

If they removed Russia from the game, it would be 50% more fun.

Even Russian players are getting annoyed by this, Gaijin is really wrong.

Maybe those aren’t really lacking that much. But it really took that frigging long before those were in the game. And there’s still a shit Heli for Italy.

And also, that’s like 3 vehicles. Meanwhile Russia has: su30 and su34, 2 BMPTS, 2 pantsirs, 1 Buk m3, 3 really good Mbt’s.

It’s just that 3 decent vehicles against a nation with only good and broken vehicles is really sad…

The old top tier spaa of their country, the cannon one (i forgot the name) that thing is way worse than a 2s38 at a way lower BR, only better part about the Italian one is a radar

I dissagree with you on that, the Turms was better in a lot of aspects cause it had good armor so you needed to aim for the weakspots.

The BMP2M is better than every other ifv at it’s br, it can fire missles on the move, has a high penn fast firing barrel eating cannon, it has a hull that can bounce rounds sometimes.
Especially the firing on the move, Bradley’s cant do that, those things will lower it’s launchers instead. And the Bmpt has faster and higher penning missles than every other ifv.

Then the 2s38, i bought it on release cause i know it was broken. And it indead was. It’s a HSTVL on steroids, high pen round with fast fire rate, proxy fuze with locking as well. It’s armor in the beginning could soak darts and it was a blind hole if you could actually penetrate it. Your dart would do nothing.
Meanwhile the HSTVL or RDF-LT, is at a crazy high br. With a worse cannon, worse optics. And in case of the HSTVL, only around 27 rounds. The 2s38 could push a spawn and it would get a nuke in seconds.

And obviously the 2s38 has been nerfed after they got most of their money out of it, by them adding modules to it. But so does every other ifv have modules now so it’s nothing special.

Maybe it might not be broken in your eyes, but it sure as hell is better than every other counterpart at it’s br or higher, especially the bmp2m and 2s38, the t72 isn’t that op anymore.

Plays since 2014 but conveniently no mention of kpz70/mbt70, m1 abrams, 2a5 against t90a f14s, bullpups and mavericks having no equivalent, xp50 and the lost goes on. Everyone can have selective memory in when it suits them

I’m saying that it isn’t good, it’s cannon has been nerfed almost instantly after coming out. It has HVAP with lower penn. It almost does nothing to ground vehicles. It has a weaker damage model than the su25 as well. But it’s still the same br

It gets a weaker damage model because it is weaker. Unlike the su25 you get useable guided munitions thats why its the same br

The mbt/kpz70 are good yes, but not really better than their peers. M1 Abrams has speed agility and fast reload yes. But the armor on the t series is better. And autocannons can kill it in seconds as well. It’s ofcourse a good tank, but not a OP tank in my eyes. I probably missed the 2a5 against t90 part yeah. The F-14 indeed was an annoyance, i agree with that. But i wouldn’t call it OP, cause it only had the phoenix going for it, so the spam of those was annoying, i do agree on that. I do remember the xp-50 being really good yeah.

I’m not saying that any of the nato vehicles is bad, or that those countries didn’t have good or broken vehicles. What I’m saying is that Russia has a higher amount of broken vehicles than any other country. And that those vehicles have been made better than their real life counter parts. And that they keep denieing it or joke about it instead of pointing it out and fixing it.

Yeah the agm65s, but we all know how useful they are. I’d take a su25 all day cause it has those big rockets, a good gun, maybe less countermeasures, and it had a broken damage model for a while as well, where you could fire a lot of missles at it and it wouldn’t butch.

What i just would like is an A-10 thats a bit better, this one’s slow (makes sense) doesn’t tank that much rounds or missles, has bad gun rounds ingame, a atgm that most of the time will miss or do absolutely nothing.

So the only reason of the a10 being that br is because it has those agms that aren’t really that useful in comparison to the big rockets the su25 has.

It’s just sad that the cannon rounds of the a10 are so useless in game…

I strongly agree with that, but that will obviously never happen. But a fix on their vehicles might. So that’s what I’m really hoping for, its cool to fight against Russian stuff if it was fair. But it’s sadly not.

I stopped playing Russia myself cause it felt disgusting and unfair, i could turn my brain off and still be on top of the leaderboard and/or get a nuke. And it feels like for me I can’t do that in any other country.
