The modifications system

the modifications system is downright dumb and we all know it, especially so in top tier, the average stock experience at 12.0+ is dying 7-9 times to radar missiles you need chaff to dodge before getting chaff, then finally getting missiles that cant do anything for 5 more games in, it really isnt optimal, my suggestion would be to give 12.0+ planes efs, flares/chaff, ammo belts the first stage bombs and fire bombs as well as flight performance mods, we all know they dont make sense except for the airframe upgrades fuselage repair and engine upgrades since the compressor would fall into a component of the engine and the cover would fall into fuselage repair aswell as wings would, just my thoughts

it is so bad, why does spading a vehicle to finally make it playable take as much rp as unlocking a new vehicle

I thik is because alot of people play for grind them, spade and leave for the next to spade

Because by the time you get it spaded, you are sick of it and never want to play it again.
Plus Gaijin has structured the grind system so that its most efficient to move on to the next cripple-wared subject. They gotta keep you on the treadmill…

thing is for me is i think it shouldnt take so much effort, 300k rp for full mods is ridiculous and so are some of the mod types, at that tier we shouldnt have to grind for flare/chaff sets, efs, g suit, radar missiles we researched 3 planes ago unnecessary flight characteristic mods etc, i think that they should just rework the whole system as the game progresses into more advanced aircraft

Gajin fundamental logic flaw is that if game was really enjoyable and really fun to play (like good mission design, balance, engaging gameplay) nobody would complain about grind.

Just look at Battlefield 4. It was a bit grindy game, but gameplay is so good, nobody even cared. Instead we get bad gameplay with bad grind.

Careful, you might realize that the whole “modifications” thing is BS.

exactly no part of top tier grinding is fun infact i question myself on why i play this terrible game every day. the more and more i play the more i realize gaijin does not care about their players whatsoever, if they did theyd have funner gamemodes and more balanced gameplay, i really believe they should revive the single player missions and pve missions and bring them to the modern age of warthunder while also making an alternate way of grinding mods/aircraft even if its a decreased rp ammount, im sure people would actually enjoy pve missions, ik i would honestly.

That would be the assaults. Which yeah, could use more variation.
I doubt they will ever put any effort/reward into single player. The WT business model depends too much on feeding kills to keep the paying whales happy and paying.

I hate how manipulative the whole design of it is as well, the same with the rank progression in the tree.
Also how completely useless a lot of the modules are.

I’ve already went over some of the issues I have with the RP requirements as well, yet no one answered me.

How for example a Leopard 2A7 needs 134k RP to unlock important modules, but the T-90M only 81k to get the same things.

Or to get thermals for the 2A7 it’s 68k RP, thermals for the T-90M is 27k

there technically already is a reward for the single player missions, although miniscule. and as for the assaults i firmly believe that they could be so much more than what they are especially with the addition of 13.0 plus, there could be actual mission sets giving objectives to each role of aircraft instead of the whole thing just being missile bus central and wave after wave of aircraft on a small map defending one base there could be multiple objectives/protection points, and more ground objectives that make the whole map seem more lively like making it an actual battlefield giving strike aircraft a real objective
