Yeah, seems like it. Heck, wish we had some IRL photos of it belly. It seems it could mount missiles there, but Im not sure (again, only pics I see are scaled models and drawings)
Looking at what you can see below it from the photo i places it looks rather smooth. I do see a spot where it looks like it might have been able to have an external fuel point back near the engines but it’s hard to say.
Would like to go see it in person but that will not be happening.
I’ve been shitting on your suggestion for this Aircraft to come to WT for a while now. I want to make a few things clear and understood.
I do think the Mig 1.44 is a cool and unique aircraft. I would think it would be a cool thing to fly as a mod or in Microsoft Flight Sim.
I whole hardheartedly don’t believe it would be good addition to add to WT. There is too much about it that screams vaporware. If it were to be added everything about it would be a nightmare for balance cause all the claims and performance made is nothing but hearsay.
Spoken like someone who has no idea how much even the smallest bump affects aerodynamics.
There’s some really good wind tunnel testing on this kind of thing, look up some videos and see how bad you external stores affect the airflow.
Oh wow you found images of 2 Swedish fighter jets
Still doesn’t prove to me the missiles won’t affect the flow of air, because maybe, just maybe, you need lift to fly.
what exactly is the discussion here?
if i understand correctly, you think that loading aam’s externally is supposed to somehow make aircraft unable to fly?
No, I don’t think they will, but he has to prove they won’t. There is a very real possibility it cannot effectively fly with ordinance.
why would that be? we have numerous aircraft in game that can and have external aam load
edit: i mean - what makes this aircraft different?
It’s the fact that it “wasn’t loaded with missiles” and therefore “adding them could make it stall”
thats some high drag missiles right there bruh ☠️
We have a few major examples of aircraft with similar configuration that have not issues, I don’t see why this one would have any, it already has pylons.
i think he is just playing a lawyer
The MiG 1.44 could be a good cap for the MiG line, just like the Su-57 Felon will be the cap for the Sukhoi line.
If you could produce factual numbers for it.
As of right now we have the engines are claimed to have 44,000 lbs of force with a twr of 11:1
When has production numbers ever effected if a vehicle is added or not?
So we going to put in a fake stats aircraft made off of vaporware? Can’t wait to see this Ace Combat UFO.
It’s not entirely fake, and it wouldn’t be the first time gaijin did this, I’m all for it.
Yeah the R2y2. That wasn’t controversial at all.
The R2Y2 also never existed, not even in a prototype, R2Y1 existed though.
