I still wonder where people get the “9.41SR” from, I’ve only ever seen it called 9.41/47, the 41S/47S is for MiG-29M.
Also… Personally I see the Yak-41’s line as the perfect spot for MiG-31 to go, since we still lack a spot for it.

I found it in the description of photos on russianplanes.net
Dunno if it’s official designations or not
But if designations there are correct then:
9.41 - Indian MiG-29K
9.41S - MiG-29M thats was shown on exhibitions only
9.41SM - MiG-29M purchased by Egypt
9.41SR - 29K purchased by Russian navy
Until gaijin decides to make it another even vehicle because interceptors. Or slap it after Su-25 because that line is pretty much done and won’t be updated (unless combat version of Yak-130 will get there)
Yes it do but hit rate of Fox-3 is there extremely low.
Carries 8x R-77 maximum like MiG-29M ?
9.41R from MiG-29KR
But 9.47 maybe MiG-29M2
It doesn’t. At least there are no visual confirmation like we have for 9.15. Every photo of 9.31 shows either R-73 or R-60M on the outermost pylon. Same goes for later variations of MiGs with naval wing - 29K, Egyptian 29M, 35
M2 was aimed for export, so it’s doubtful that Gaijin will add it as a tech tree. Maybe Egyptian version as a premium/event vehicle later down the line. And 9.47 is Indian 2-seater version, M2 used 9.47S chassis designation on exhibitions
i see books call the Russian air force MiG-35 as the MiG-35S 9.41SR and MiG-35UB 9.47SR also here is a sign from an airshow at kubinka in 2023 referring to an russian air force MiG-35 as an MiG-35S, so you sure designation hasnt changed at one point for these? Its not uncommon for russian domestic models to carry a different designation compared to their export variant
Well, there’s plenty of internal changes in avionics for it to just be “pretending”, but airframe itself is 9.41/47 in pretty much everything, true
Best? Oh its so fun to fly anywhere on the map except a canyon and suddenly some shitty F-14 launches 20 Phoenixes on you. The only chance for Su-33 is to fly low or behind a mountain and then peek out guide the R-27ER and because its fast you will get the kill fast but like this youll honestly get like 3 kills max in a normal game with actual players. It should ho down in its Br or get R-77s. But yes its true overall its one of the best. Except still having SARH.
Brother, not being able to notch Phoenix or F-14 radar is honestly a skill issue. And ER is pretty easy to guide considering that you have entire minute of a suspended datalink to reconnect or to switch target. Su-33 will suffer in heavy uptiers against 13.7-14.0, but this is compression issue that gaijin will never fix, so just play better, you have tools.
The 9.31 should be able to 8x R-77
It has more or the less same airframe as basis
Folding wings might impose weight limitations on outermost pylons. And, as i said above - there are no photo evidence of it being armed with 8xR-77.
The most they have is 8
and they’re pheonixes, not particularly hard to avoid
Meanwhile you get what is probably the best missile in the game (R-27ER)
8x of them too
front section of the rudder section is wrong in game, the CM mounts were deleted on the MiG-29M and moved else where
Hmmmmm,
Well according to the MiG bible they simply just call them “9.41R/47R”

and regular K/KUBs are just referred to as 9.41/47s.

Rather interestingly too, MiG-35 '154 Blue is referred to as 9.15D.

And on the topic of MiG-35s, MiG-35 and 35D are called “9.61/9.67”

Still need to look further for export designations though.
This goes alongside the modern MiG-35 dual seater being MiG-35D. And, well, 154 airframe is 9.15 after all.
This ones i think were only the ones shown at MMRCA, and nowhere else. But i might be wrong

I mean it says they were given the designation 9.61-67, I would assume they wouldn’t just give out a brand new designation for a trial…

How peculiar…
MiG-29Kr/KrUB → 9.41R/47R
MiG-29M/M2 → 9.41S/47S
MiG-35/35D → 9.41D/47D
… how can MiG be as convoluted as Sukhoi…
is this from the mig bible?
