Anyone flying the MI-35m is wondering “Snail, where are my 9M120-1’s ???”
The Mi-35M is equipped with the OPS-24N/GOES-342 system, which is the only optical guidance station on all versions of the aircraft. This system is explicitly designed to provide laser designation for the 9M120-1 (Ataka-M) missile. Therefore, the helicopter is technically capable of using the 9M120-1, and its omission in-game is an oversight.

Unless you can prove that the heli was never flown without carrying the 9m120-1, then the “not historically accurate” claim is false.
It will probably get them in the future as they usually do.

right, because the 9m120-1’s aren’t available on these helis in game when they should have been included already.
And for that to not be historically accurate, it would have to be the case that the heli always carried the weapon in every sortie.
If there was even one time where it didnt carry it, then it historically could not carry it too.

Sure, the GOES-432 would need to be added since it is built into the frame.

The lack of 9M120-1 however is not a historical issue. You can suggest it be added and you could make a good argument for why it would need it. But historically, it also flew without them so flying without them in-game is historically accurate.
Mi-35m comes standard with 102-1’s, the 120’s are a downgrade from the standard package they fit them up with.

you are correct and that is my mistake. i had it confused with the VM, the modernized version I’ll make the edit. but yeah if the MI/24VM can fire the 120-1’s then so can the 35M as The Mi-35M is the direct evolution of the Mi-24VM upgrade. the V’s were upgraded by receiving new wing pylons compatible with APU-8/4-U launchers and updated avionics to support the Ataka-V complex.
