say are you even using the tornado without fox1s or the alpha jet? The BK27 on the gripen is much better than that of the tornado and A jet.

you literally just disagree with everything i say even if you’re completely clueless about it. The people here are talking about the gripen mauser while i’m talking about the alpha jet mauser. The tornados have two of them which pack more punch than a single one and yet it’s still lackluster. Having 2 AP rounds and 1 PT round with a single HE round gives you no damage whatsoever.

The tornado is a bus which doesnt get around to aiming
The Alpha jet is a nimble sub sonic fighter and often is just to slow
The gripen is a agile supersonic fighter. It gets around to use its cannon more often and effectively
But the round selection of the gripen is worse then that of the alpha jet and the tornado
how is it worse when it has an all aphe belt while the belt on the alpha jet is all AP rounds? Besides the gripen has amraams and aim9m’s. You won’t use the gun unless it’s a last resort gunfight and you do have the performance and maneuverability to keep shooting at the last enemy even if you have to use your 150 rounds.

you are still looking at the wrong belts. The only belt with pure AP rounds is the freaking armored target belt. Seriously learn to discern belts and what rounds they use first. This seems to be your main issue when you still dont understand the belts
I’ve played plenty of matches with vehicles that have the BK and it feels pretty good. Not as good as the Vulcan but still pretty good.
ive had my fair share of guns kills in the Tornado F.3, does no damage much different to what i would expect of a Gsh 30-1, ADEN or DEFA, 95% of the time if you hit their dead,

Seems like you didn’t look the post at all. It’s plenty of evidences that these belts are indeed garbage for me at least (cue when I said I have severe frag deficiency and everyone laughed at me, despite once again, posting solid evidence of my issue). And even if the case was true that the gripen’s Mauser was worse, the gripen is still the best jet in the game that has enough responsiveness to spend 50 rounds on the last resort of a dogfight, when missiles are already over and you’re trying to kill the last enemy alone.
We’re talking about a plane that has a mid 7.7 performance at 8.7 facing 9.7 all day with a 6.0 gun. The Alpha Jets are objectively dogshit and so are their armament. Even for the “it’s an atakker” redditor shtick, the a4e walks over the alphajet any day of the week. The Colts hit very hard and have velocity despite having just 200 rounds per gun.

i forgot. But just because you had a handful of kills doesn’t mean much when all your killing power lies on the missiles. You think i don’t kill people? Well, i killed 3 times more people than I died. Would be about 6 or more if the gun was actually good and the plane was any survibable.

I find it funny that @Mantis_Chat_Ban is indirectly claiming that Mig-17 is 7.7 performance.
Of course this is due to Mig-17 being 92% of what an Alpha Jet is in performance while having worse guns.
I do not care about your performance, Mantis; individual performance is irrelevant in everything that isn’t related to claims of personal skill.
Your performance relative to other aircraft is only ever relevant to claims of vehicles being OP compared to others.
A-4E is inferior to Alpha Jet and Mig-17, this is common knowledge.

Meanwhile I delete anything I hit. I melt both tanks and planes with it. You just need to hit the burst correctly. The 27mm Mauser is in my opinion the best plane gun. It’s got enormous velocity, making it very accurate and easy to hit targets with. The damage is phenomenal because of the caliber and fire rate.
Yeah you summarised the development of the Mauser.
They wanted a fast firing bigger caliber.
They saw the russian gun as to slow and kot enough velocity.
While the us gaus was to small and needed a second to even get to its highest rpm
Mauser is pretty much the middle, shoots fast from the get go with bigger calibers then US and higher velocity then russia but a smaller caliber
