7.0? are you joking? The only reason it’s at 7.7 is so that it is possible to kill it, and even when it gets penned, the survivability is decent. In any downtier, it absolutely shreds. At 7.0, it would be blatantly unfair and make everyone hate the game even more. Also, then there would be the possibility of a maus getting into a 6.0 game, which would pretty much be racking up free kills. The only people who think the maus should get a lower br are the people who own it.
The gun on the T95 isn’t great, and it can be pretty easily killed by a large HE shell to it’s cupola. It is also to slow to even reach the battlefield and can be flanked easily

it is fine at 7.7, I still enjoy it and do well in it and I also get destroyed in it.
It can even be penned by a bt-5 frontally btw.
People complain about anything here.
The Maus enjoys frequent downtiers to 6.7 matches and clubs literally every tank with ease because nothing can pen it from any angle. If anything, it should have its BR increased to 8.0 because it should never face 6.7s.
you do realise maus has only 180 mm side armor right, almost every if not all 6.7 tank can go through that
The maus is fine at 7.7, they just need to rework the internal bulkhead armor plates increasing their thickness and their height (reducing the areas that you can overpressure the maus with HE and HEAT) and the hull top vent armor thickness.
The Maus maximum engine RPM should also be reduced from 3000 to 2500 RPM without changes to the maximum power. The engine is also missing it’s real name.
