ik just how america has such good vheicles but you have to trudge through the annoyiness of the vheicles before them becuase of how research goes with difference is ranks
yeah but that also means you have to play more vehicles, meaning you get to see many playstyles and find your favourite, it works quite well for new player i think, but once you find a prefered way to play can be annoying
yeah especially when you get “gaijened” and some bs happens you then get negative feedback

Marder has a terribly underperforming gun, no stab, is huge and slower compared to XM800. The missiles are nice, but you only have 4. Keep in mind, the XM uses the same gun but gets APDS unlike marder. It would also get a huge boost if the gun had anything close to its historical/IRL performance.
nothing is historical or even close to how it preformed irl
war thunder is game that highlights what a vehicle could’ve been not what it is
now some aren’t as fortunate to be blessed with the buff from warthunder

Dare I say, the XM800T should be moved up instead (same with the Fox)
Marder is slower and larger.
Sabot that the Marder A1- doesn’t get, and thus IFVs like BMP1s are pretty much invulnerable to it from the front.
Of which it only gets four, and they have terrible handling.
Speed AND size. The XM800T is much faster than a Marder, much smaller than a Marder, and can get in useful positions much sooner, which allows it to put its 20mm in a location where it’ll actually do things. And you forgot to mention, the XM800T actually gets a stabilizer too, unlike the Marder.
It is the ultimate counter to ANY light tank at this BR.
