The M1A2 AIM should be added to the British tech tree

Kinlar tank operated by Largur

Exactly, now would Kinlar still has the right to say what Largur can do with these tanks ?

depends on the terms of the sale

So if say Kinlar can do what Largur can please with these tanks basically do what you want we don’t care anymore, would those be fully Largur operated tanks ?

well yeah. but that doesnt really have anything to do with WT implementation. the Abrams is still an American tank

I had enough playing now, I need to sleep

Depends, did this Kinlar ever service it? Or modify it at any point.
Example: (ČKD) LT vz. 38->Germany made many different variants.
So it’s still Czech in origin; however, the variants that shot off are German.

Think again. Here is the M1A2 the UK bought in the 90’s to see if it was a suitable replacement for Challenger 1. The bid failed and the tank was ultimately given back to the US.

I’m sorry Aussies I know it’s your tank and you deserve fair representation , but have you seen the average Abrams player in the US tree? why would you want to bring that curse to the British tree 😔
But if it comes it comes

Good Morn’ lol

You can check my Abrams battle stats. The US was the first tech tree I completed, so the KD/KR of most vehicles is quite low, but I think my SEP and SEPv2 are pretty good.No matter what Abrams players are like, the Abrams itself is a solid tank.

My guy, are you saying no country should have US-produced Lend-Lease equipment?

Service nation is much more important to presence in the TT than the original manufacturer.

Just to clarify, it came to the British tree first in 2022: [Development] Skink: The Bird-eating Lizard - News - War Thunder

Later the US tree in 2024 alongside the T77E1 to help pad out US SPAA.

Great, and here’s the Leopard 2AV with the 105mm gun the US had built to trial against the XM1.

It’s in the German tree, not the US tree.

Britain doesn’t need the M1A2.

You mean the tank that Germany lied with, sent under false pretenses and got upset when they were called out on their antics? The US also never had the PT19 Leopard built for them and never paid for it, it was built for Germany in Germany and they wanted to see if other nations wanted the upcoming Leopard 2.

Who cares about those issues? Germany wasn’t fielding a Leopard 2 with a 105. That was mounted at the request of the US.

There is no difference between the US testing the Leopard 2 and the UK testing the M1A2. The M1A2 should not go to the UK. The UK doesn’t need the M1A2.
