"It’s pretty disgusting what Gaijin does, to be honest. They nerf the Leopard 2’s turret by about 10mm every week. Soon, the turret will be penetrable by the DM53 head-on. I know it’s very common for people to talk about the Leopard 2’s armor, but it’s getting pretty ridiculous. The Type 99s have better turret armor, and that shouldn’t be the case. Yes, the 2A7 is the best tank in the game and probably has the best armor layout, but at least say it’s for balance purposes.
depends on the leo, most 2a4s and even 2a5s had bad turret armor especially in game at 10.7 to 11.3.
2A4 turret cheeks are not a sure thing at 10.3 its a shot i’m not taking with the CR1 and L26
hit the gunner camera on the left (looking towards the tank) it goes through and kills both cmd and gunner.
Oh I know it should too often it misses or is absorbed Leopard 2A4/ Strv 121 turrets are too trolly
volumetric is why the leos are so good.
Seems fair, shame that doesn’t translate to other tanks :(

It does to the Panthers (except F and II), for some reason the gun mantlet just lets shells disapear into a black hole.
I don’t know about any turret armor changes.
On top of that, all tanks can be penned from a slight angle, not just Leopards.
Penning T-series tanks from a slight angle is something I’ve been doing since 2019.
