Not true. There are two different versions. The one in game is an S2 Demonstrator from 2006. That’s the one we get. There is another one from 2011 which also looks different.
This is the 2011 kit with the back SLAT armor changed to idk if it’s composite or just steel

Misunderstood it then. The AZUR demonstrator is an S2. The same pack was never mounted on an XXI. The other package from 2011 has only been mounted on an UAE Leclerc. There was never an XXI with AZUR (at least no pictures of it)
It is a kit, basically if France own AZUR kits, they can be mounted both on the S2 and on the SXXI and I am not talking about prototype… it is just common sense…
By the way, no picture doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist…
AZUR 2006 and AZUR 2011 are two different kits. Plus France doesn’t use them themselves. It’s an export kit which was first sold in 2011 to the UAE Armed Forces. The S2 was just to demonstrate the kit for the first time. And no picture means we can’t get it. There has to be proof of some sort either pictures or documents stating the tank was an XXI. For the S2 you can literally look up the serial number on the frontal hull armor. It’s listed as the AZUR Demonstrator instead of having an identification name like the others.

Fair enough, i don’t mind that, but in that case it should be foldered with the s2 or go to the amx40 line.
It should the better round, lws and all the stuff missing

It basically can. Yet Gaijin isn’t willing to do it as there is no proof it really can. As we have that issue with many many other things. The only “proof” of an AZUR kit on a more modern Leclerc is the XLR Scorpion that uses parts of the AZUR kit on the side
Yet that is the 2011 kit which has the “original” heavy side skirts below the added ones just to reduce the time to mount or change them which originally took 12 hours for the AZUR to be mounted.
LWR is missing on all Leclercs as it’s part of the GALIX system. Leclerc features a directional launch option against laser guided weapons. The better shell (OFL 120F1A/OFL 120F2) should be on the XXI. Other stuff like the incorrect hull armor is something that is across all Leclercs. IMO it should be between the S2 and XXI or foldered. AMX 40 line has to stay open for other export tanks like Leclerc UAE

I would have said UAE as a Squadron vehicle and the leclerc prototype ARES and BAYARD after the Amx-40 and in the future prototype of the EMBT
I would say the other way around. ARES/BAYARD as a SV kinda like XM-1 (Premium I know) or the T-80s and the EAU after AMX 40 since both tanks are export.

that has to be the saddest stats i have ever seen for an era block the size of a person

Do we have some informations about the protection it gets to make a bug report?
i have none right now, but that kinetic performance is just so sad and you cant even take off the kit if you wanted to like m1a2 sep

only sources I’ve been going through are the ones on the suggestion for Azur on the old forum. also honestly thought Azur was NERA for the longest time guess i thought wrong
