The Leclerc is in dire need of a buff

RIP. Meanwhile the Russian have their magical auto loader extra armor, but turret basket is non existent

The current Russian favoritism is as blatant as I have ever seen in this game. And I’ve been around since the Tiger 105 and IS4M were top tier.

Absolutely no reason the front fuel tank should still be interior and the hyperbar system shouldn’t have been modeled

what is it?

Essentially a turbine meant specifically to supercharge the Leclerc for absolutely wild acceleration

Does this increase engine power or something? I haven’t seen any reports about this.

Moving to external tanks would be a nerf, not an buff.

Wdym? Extrnal tanks provide the same protection but cannot burn down your vehicle.

If they’re external, it means there’s a steel plate between them and the fighting compartment. The steel plate will create spall.

For the Leclerc, an internal tank is more advantageous, as the explosion won’t destroy an experienced crew, and spall absorption guarantees survival, as you don’t have ammunition in the fighting compartment, unlike the T-80 and T-72, where even without spall, the tank can be destroyed.

All in all it’s just a feeding technology, it’s taken into account in the tank’s power figure in game, considering WT doesn’t model power curves or torque anyway, it’s fairly irrelevant to the game.

Depends on how dev implement it, T90M frontal fuel tank is external wrapped by spall liner which doesn’t spall, Abrams has plate behind it which spalls

The Leclerc doesn’t have a spall liner; it could only have something like the Abrams. I think it’s worse than it is now.

Then why did the person above state that this function is missing and should incredibly strengthen the tank?

Moreso I think they’re complaining about it being part of the engine model, making it’s hitbox bigger, while technically the engine could run without it, although I doubt it.
Personally I think it makes sense, since again WT’s powerpack are very simplistic, and no way Gaijin would spend time modelling a variable power curve for only 2 tanks.
More bothered by the exhaust pipe being part of the engine.
