No, and no. Leclerc have much better armor if you comper to this leo. Better mobility, better reliad, same gun handling, not much worse round, and it is pretty survivable. You are wrong here

OK. I originally thought that F2 would exceed the 600mm mark as the threshold.
They have fixed 5sec reload, better mobility, around the same armor and survivability, and dont have turret busket or anything like that which nerfs them
I miss remembered, the main difference is only due to the change from WHA to DU, it would be basically the same just more pen at distance but not much difference at all

Okay, so the Leclerc vs aced crew M1A2 SEP V1 both have a 5s reload, though if the Abrams only has two crew members left, it’s no longer a 5s reload.
The Leclerc also has the commander and gunner on either side, so if the enemy shoots the left cheek, you are still able to shoot.
The mobility on the Leclerc is better, but I’d say not by much (especially when compared to the M1A1 HC and SEP V1 with no TUSK ERA).
And then the no NATO hump and smaller turret ring (no turret basket either but I have no clue how long that will last for).
Survivability difference is questionable (especially because you only get 3 crew members instead of 4 on the Abrams), but I will give you that because of how easy it is to one-shot or completely cripple the Abrams through the turret ring.
But the round for the M1A2 SEP V1 is 629mm instead of 576mm.
That is a big difference, not only in terms of penetration but spalling.
The M1A2 SEP V1 also has much better gun depression (-10 instead of a mediocre -8).
The M1A2 SEP V1 also has much better turret cheek armour, with a stronger breech.
You can get breeched by an IFV, and penned (on either cheeks) by rounds stronger than ~590mm (Basically any Leopard variant at top tier, any Abrams at top tier, the Challenger 3 TD, the Type 10 / TKX, and the Merkava Mk.4s)
That is pretty mediocre armour if you’re suppose to be a top tier MBT.

I understand you about armor coz it isnt very good and on paper leclerc has much worse armor BUT in reality, in match, 50% of shots i get dont do any damage and the other 50% is rather critical hits or one shots. Survivability is better in battle for leclercs but it is only my expirience. The shell isn’t that important in terms of penetration imo, and OFL 120 F1 has enough penetration and spall to kill any enemy. In other aspects im agreeing

They just followed 2A6 up, as they’re pretty neck and neck.
That said, I believe both should be at 12.3, but this is wishful thinking.

In the French TT, the Leclerc are much closer in stats top the 2A5 than the 2A6. If I followed that principal, I’d have put the Leclercs at 12.3. I also would not have made half of the 12.3 vehicles go at that BR. They were fine at 12.0
They perform better than both actually.
Look at their recent performance… they perform better.

Why are you taking all time stats when 2A6NL certainly hasn’t been added at the same time as Leclercs and faced same challenges ? Leclercs are clearly performing better in 2025.

Performance of the tank will heavily depend on how players play the tank
Statistically speaking france has a very high wr at top tier compared to other big nations but that doesnt mean that the tanks are necessarily good
The leclerc isnt that good armor wise and its shell is kinda sad
