Wouldn´t expect too much of a gameplay improvement beyond new fancier thermal sights.
Well, the XLR doesn’t fire OFL-F1 at least.
And many other type of shells that clearly should be added, like the multi purpose High Explosive and such.

AZUR doesn’t have it. Commander thermal sight have only UAE Leclerc (HL 80) and Leclerc SXXI (HL 120)
But in terms of gameplay, the only important addition that would come with the XLR would be the SHARD APFSDS, which is still a very poorly understood round. Yes, the programmable HE would come very handy especially if Gaijin does something with infantry but still APFSDS are more important to gameplay.

The ERA on the side of the Leclerc looks like it ate all the shrapnel / spalling as if it was a fuel tank.
May or may not be a bug.

Heh, probably doing to get MICA VL or something like that. IR, EM, semi active or fire and forget I have no idea tho. Gaijin has proven incapable of making half decent models of the mistral, so mistral 3 definitely isn’t going to cut it (would not be even as good as tan Sam which already isn’t top tier material)

They all eat spall, just like the AZUR. And just like the AZUR, it’s complete RNG. Sometimes they eat spall, sometimes they act like butter. Just like the t series auto loader, the PZH2000 ammo rack, the fuel tanks… sometimes they eat all spall, sometimes they don’t. The AZUR kit is not special in this situation, the spaghetti code id just acting up

Mistrals aren’t SAM. Also, according to this logic, considering how the Pantsirs are performing, Mistrals are long due for a buff anyway.
As long as the Devs won’t be able to wrap their head around the fact that France can in fact produce a better MANPAD than Igla 10+ years after Igla, Mistral will remain pathetic.

Surface to Air Missile, last time that i check it does fit the definition of a SAM, the only difference is that it is man portable, but it keeps being a SAM.
Man, please read correctly before responding. I did not say you hit the fuel tank. I said that ERA, just like most modules, sometime eat the spall, and its complete RNG.

I’m saying that all of these modules have issue, it’s not AZUR ERA specific. It’s a bug, that gaijin has failed to fix after years, or it’s intentional game design, which would be stupid
