Unironically enjoying Leclerc AZUR’s LWS, when people Rangefind me I know where they are, its a useful tool
That being said, there’s a significant amount of work that needs to be done on the Leclerc, and I appreciate this step in the right direction

Poor Vextra, man. Had to get nerfed and they refuse to buff it for a top tier light

Fuel tanks are some of the most OP things in the game (even more OP than spall liners).
They completely nullify any spalling, and only provides a chance of it exploding… but this isn’t even the case for external fuel tanks.
AMX-32 and Leopard 2K has the same annoying feature… same with LFP of T-Series MBTs, as well as the Leclerc (as you can see), Type 90, and Type 10. I could probably think of more vehicles with similar ‘survivability buff’ too.
Recently they gutted it’s gearbox. Not that it was any good to begin with, but now from a standstill it really struggles to get going.
We’re back at the point where the Type 16 is the undisputed best armoured car at 9.7 by sole virtue of not having Gaijin’s signature gearbox with 57 gears.

The 9.7 lineup of France is insulting. AMX-40 with the wrong thermals and missing lots of armor, Vextra without proper ammo and crappy mobility, and the Roland down to a measly 35 degrees of elevation
All of them are unrealistically nerfed, and for what? To sell some mediocre IFV and give it a very forced lineup?

Let’s be honest: it was honestly just German mains crying about being destroyed by the Vextra, so Gaijin nerfed it to hell to appease the Begleitpanzer and Wiesel spammers.

The Leclerc fuel tanks being hit detonates the Leclerc consistently. The video you are responding to does not demonstrate a fuel tank being hit. It is hitting the side panel ERA of the Leclerc AZUR, but this also was not the cause as this behaviour was present on most tanks at that point in time if they had sufficient voids in the crew compartment, as Leclerc does.
Dear Leclerc/French players, there is no punchline, Leclerc’s hull armor is just sad. Atp I’m 99.9% positive it has only got the level of KE protection that it does just to appease ya all. With this LoS thickness, I am more than positive the British documents are currently the most accurate estimates of the tank’s protection (and as such, it should be nerfed whenever possible) - because you are not getting ~550mm RHAe out of 580mm of space, not even with 2020s composites, much less with 1990s.

Good thing people are taking issue with the turret armour than the hull armour.
The sky will fall before the British, or yank but yanks rarely have the capacity to put together half coherent snark, actually read what they push in to be snarky about. This is, of course, assuming your resources correct.

I’m talking about how the hull armor is, I have not talked about the performance of the turret (which is a more complicated matter due to how the turret is built, and protection levels are not as uniform as they are for pretty much every other MBT), i’d rather you don’t act like a smartass and goalpost this.

Would be awesome if the hull was the only problem. Would be a start if you wouldnt get one shot through the giant gunner or commander sight that sits on top of the turret. (no idea how that works actually but the snail can make the magic work) or the biggest breech weakspot of all mbts (i believe). or crippled by basically any tank of br 3.0 and above through the lower glacis. And…
But whatever I think theres no point in believing the snail has any intention in changing this since only more experienced players have the frustration tolerance to keep playing it so it has good stats and doesn’t need any better shells or improvement so each game you’re basically
Sitting behind each corner available praying the whole enemy team is completely deaf and oblivious pushing past you without knowing where you are. Then you have to send a prayer to RNGesus to not make your darts disappear into the flat side era of a t80 bvm or a t90m or just take out its driver when youre shooting its lower glacis making him stop right in front of your 16 million euro paper mache tank and you should be fine.
God beware you have to aggressively push with decent enemies to save a match because you will die if anything looks at you funny.
“Assuming your resources correct” I am not contending your resources, in spite of the fact that there’s multiple ways to contend it with some credibility.
Not really goalposting when you’re implying folk are bitching about the hull armour, when just about everyone is acknowledging that Leclerc’s hull armour wasn’t the focus of the protection schema.

I’m not addressing what the player complaints are, nor am I implying shit. I am simply stating the hull armor is for a fact the saddest thing I have seen since the Challenger 2s hull armor cavity. You’re trying your absolute hardest to put this in my mouth lmao, get over yourself.
