How can a CR2 get a turret basket modelled? have they actually done that? xD
50 cal can get through it sometimes if they throw enough rounds at you
yes they have…an unrealistic change to as the challengers dont have and i think ill finally agree the challengers arent good. gaijins just neglecting them at this point

IF they add a turret basket to the CR2s it’ll absolutely kill them mate, their one redeeming quality past their turret armour is the ability to be able to return fire, providing you are whacked, if they add this it’ll cripple the whole tank xD
Not a real basket but they have modeled the plate at the bottom where the crew is standing
It’s absolutely hilarious that this will block turret rotation but a destroyed autoloader carousel won’t

the turret armour is getting a slight buff but not enough to justify a turret basket, and in all fairness its a smaller one to the leopards but a side shot or lfp shot will disable it most times like everything else
Well according to the damage model it’s part of the horizontal drive just like the basket on the Abrams, Leo and Leclerc
It might change since it’s the dev tho

And aye the leopards got hammered with the turret baskets, the abrams not as much tbh I find survival in the abrams is more common than the leopard in my experience.

meanwhile! Russian tanks, with Autoloaders which are part of the damn basket lol don’t get that.
The russian tanks are that small inside their whole ring should be a basket.

Well what can I say? The UK gets some good tanks this update, better preliminary nerf them before they threaten the russian winrate I guess.

What tanks are we getting that’s good? :D I know there are the two abrams coming so that is good.
But the damn CR2s getting nerfed again is not exactly fair.

They’ve been seriously pounding a massive wedge between community and company since about january man TBH.
The bit that has annoyed me the most, was that this turret basket, even as minimal as it is, was considered a higher priority than the ready rack or spall liners. I would have no issue with it being part of a total internal model overhaul, that added/changed loads of stuff, but it didnt. The mantlet got a buff which is nice, but its just too little
the sepv3 and the m1a1 are great the arjun texture is in the files but weather thats gonna be “good” or not is up to gaijin
its was going well to, the challengers got an engine buff a gear ratio change a mantlet buff then they get hit with this.
yeah im kind of getting to my limit of dealing with it gaijins been pondering to russia for a while now and there nerfing the challengers EVEN MORE incase britain mains can play an abrams to well
there not good at hiding anything, 3 years to get spall liners and a ready rack fix but they can focus on a turret basket easy enough
Yeah i know thats what i meant with the Challies are not getting an actual basket like the Leos and Abrams but they essentially get the same stupid damage model for absoutely no reason.
Which is complete and utter bollocks if I do say so, the reports for so much stuff on the CR2 have been seen so many times and just fkin ignored.
They really are just attempting to push away every player base of hte game.
The M1A1 is good, and the SepV3 will be nice but it’s not worht the damn nerf to the CR2s
