MSC ≠ Ares
Indeed. Carnot, Étienne, Arès are Closer to the in game S1 in their armor layout, autoloader system… while the Ares is a bare one Leclerc and features somewhat different systems just like the autoloader
Carnot, Estienne and Ares look like they’re gonna hit the most fire diss track
we need Brun Terre De France for rank 4+ ground vehicles in game unlockable before the lighter desert tan camouflage. since the TPK has been seen using it.
Also could someone make. a suggestion for the TPK Truck “ACMAT VLRA Mistral” armed with mistral 3? It would be a 8.7-9.0 meme machine like the type 93.
There is also a ACMAT VLRA TPK HOT atgm carrier 2 7.7 would be a good br.
Info: Archives Milinfo (09/2019) : ACMAT VLRA 4.25 ATLAS/HOT au 1/50 (par Jérôme Hadacek) -
If anyone wants to make suggestions for more ACMAT TPK fire support vehicles ingame there are many brochures on ebay.
We could have an entire tech tree line of ACMAT Trucks!
Brun terre de France*
Brown earth of France in English
This is the new basic camouflage of the French army. From this camouflage, different variations will then be possible.
Example :

The two first already are in game… i’m pretty sur that at the Jaguar release the third will be in the liveries.
But it can still be interesting to have this as base color, like for VBCI or AMX-10RC !
I think the first one is not in the game.
The second, the color of Brown Earth of France is not great, it is too pink, I invite you to go see it in game
Yes, the actual camouflage color and feel were different.
I agree, i noticed that pinkish rendering, it’s a creator issue, not specifically due to gaijin implementation.
The first one is in game, on the S1
I know its kinda off topic, but hopefully someone here have the premium amx30. How long does it took to use the rangefinder on that vehicle? How is it compare to the tech tree amx30 1972? Difference between basic crew and expert crew?
For 1972 basic crew I tested like around 3 seconds I belive, but for premium amx30 in test drive it is around 3.5 secs
BTW why is the rangefinder on amx50 so much faster?
i get them for a while now too, i simply stopped playing them, too hard to kill on frontal and i get one shotted like 90% of the time…
They all use the same kind of optical range finder, just like the amx50 Foch or the surblindé. Those all have the same speed, but will depend on crew skill and qualification. I don’t know the exact values however
Im so confused at this point, it seems like the wiki stats and ingame statscard matches for some vehicle but not for others.
And how is test drive working here, if u don’t own the vehicle, does it give u a basic level 1 crew, but if you train the vehicle, it will allow you to test drive with your high-level crew?
So here are some examples:
On wiki for Somua, AMX50 TO90/930 (which I have in game), The horizontal Traverse ace crew = 30, 36 degrees /sec. Which is consistent from the in game stats card.
For AMX30 and Clovis (I don’t own them), wiki shows 30, 36 degrees, but it seems like the in game stats card is missing the value from the horizontal traverse modification.
With the same rate as AMX50 without mod.
Weirdly enough, the engine horsepower is representation of vehicle with all the mobility modification on, those statscards number are not consistent somehow.
I believe in test drive you can force the crew to be level 1 now, would need to check.
Otherwise, yeah, stat cards don’t make sense lol. And whatever you do, do not trust the wiki. It’s usually only correct for the first few days of a vehicle introduction and will not be updated following changes to the vehicle or its BR.
oh and that is not the worst thing… the maneuveraility of the tank should be on par with the abrams but it is not why? No idea… Like same weight and width and length but still leclerc cannot turn on a whim like abrams can and when it does it loses all its speed. Maybe it is a bug but too lazy to make a bug report make a bug report
I’ve been having some of the most hairpulling experience w the OFL 120 F1. It just seems so unreliable in my experience. Has it been the same for yall?
Yes, the shell has a bit less PEN than the rest which gives it less spalling. It also weighs less which again gives it less spalling. Combine these two factors and you have a shell that does less post PEN damage than other. Now add spall liners on enemy tanks and you do even less post PEN damage.
I play both France and USSR, many times I shot an enemy and don’t get kill In the Leclerc when I know I would have if I was using a T-90 or T-80.
