Since the Netherlands never built any C-Tech hulls, they used those with B-Tech.

Honestly a 2A5NL with 2A4 level hull armor and DM33 max (maybe DM43) would make for a decent 11.7 premium option for France.
Not that it would happen, I assume the leaked leopards will go to the tree and just be C&Ped from the German tree.
With the next French premium being the VBCI-2 40, just to really rub salt in the wound.

Leclerc S2 and SXXI Missing OFLE 120 F2: Community Bug Reporting System
Despite being delivered to the French army, OFL 120 F2 shells initially produced in the late 1990s never entered service due to problems with the depleted uranium alloy. A more recent production run of this shell entered French service under the designation ‘OFLE 120 F2’ in 2013. In War Thunder, OFLE 120 F2 will trade 2mm of penetration against a vertical target at 0m for better penetration past ~1,000m. The increased penetrator weight will also translate to improved spalling.
Previously, OFLE 120 F2 was an unsuitable addition because it would’ve been modelled using the standard density of DU in-game - that is, 18,600kg/m^3. However, based on new information, the penetrator should have a density of 19,000kg/m^3. This means a very negligible loss of flat penetration under 1,000m, but much better penetration at longer distances.

I mean they could always introduce a camo net version of the 2A5NL as a premium.
However you are right. Gaijin will just keep the 2A5NL and 2A6NL armor as the german 2A5/6 and keep them at 12.0

You know that it will happen though, Gaijin isn’t adding these because they want to put a lot of work in them.
Also a 2A5NL with B-tech armor could easily be added to 11.7, seeing as we now have tanks like the M1A2 at 11.7 too.

Muh missing turret composites😞(zero idea why they were removed considering every source in existance states the AMX-40 has composite arrays in it’s turret)
I’d love to see the AMX-40 with it’s turret composites and a faster reload (possibily a better round if OFL-G1 isn’t already underperforming on this thing) be apart of a French 10.7 lineup alongside the 2A4NL and some other additions like Leclerc proto’s or even VEXTRA-105 with it’s proper APFSDS round
On the other hand though I’ve been enjoying 9.7 France quite a bit with the recent decompression and I feel like I’m starting to get back into the game again
