The Leclerc is in dire need of a buff

Imo a mobility “buff” would be better

It certainly comes down to a matter of opinion, either would be welcome but preferably both. I personally haven’t had as many issues with mobility compared to firepower in terms of gameplay. Though, I have found that the lack of a LWS does hurt my survivability quite a bit.

I pray

What source material do we have for this?

Because nobody really said this, thank you for your acknowledgement of going off topic and the respect for the thread. I highly value it.

Ah yes, because we all remember back when the Abrams had a 5 second reload, had it nerfed to 6 seconds, than had it restored.

The Leclerc’s reload already use to be 5 seconds before it was nerfed for “le balance” reasonings. Even when it was 5 seconds, Leclerc still suffered and continues to suffer from many glaring issues; mainly mobility, and armor.

Having a stupid nerf that never should have happened reverted doesn’t mean we are suddenly going to shut up about the issues that already existed and continue to exist with Leclerc before said reload nerf even occured.

(updated for the 492th time in a row, including more sources and gear ratios for each gear, including speed for each gear, hopefully this will be the last)

Is it just me or did they make ammo more vulnerable? After the new patch I feel like ammo cooks at least once every two game?

They did

There’s a documentary like report of the firing tests of the Leclerc that specifically mentions that the auto loader is able to sustain 3s reload is necessary. Granted that’s only 1 source

This is for every tank, generally Challengers, Russian Tanks and Ariete are the most affected, since the others have blowout panels.

Any chance you could also report the lack of “transversal”? mobility

I mean, Leclerc is the 2nd lowest MBT of the game to perform a 360°turn, he loses all his speed when we turns hard, IRL it’s not doing that at all, should be really more agile than leo/abrams

Cannot do anything about it, unfortuantley that is something Gaijin have to fix by implementing regenerative steering.

If after they fix my report about the acceleration this is not resolved automatically, i will make an additional report.

A new video on Leclerc tank has been released and we can see that his mobility is much better in real life than in game. (go to 24min29)

hehe désolé

pas ded soucis !

Yeah I had the same reaction seeing it ! That acceleration sure is impressive, and it looks like the driver isn’t fully pressing the pedal since it doesn’t look like the Leclerc keeps on accelerating.

Also, at 14:56 : https://youtu.be/FnIZOKeWksA?si=kwpkxhWGdI8Z3yGP&t=863
“Sauf qu’en fait on se prenait des gros trous à 80 (km/h)”

“But the thing is we were taking huge bumps at 80 (km/h)”

So it seems Leclerc’s top speed is not 70 km/h, but actually more
