One thing I’ve been noticing on WT is overtime, they’re giving little to no love to the WW2 community. Something that blows my mind is how little WW2 vehicles were getting. Germany has tons of WW2 vehicles that can be added, but you know the last WW2 vehicle we got for Germany? Copy and paste puma with a camo net. Now I am more than grateful for the Hummel being added, however the Hummel is loooooong overdue, and on top of that, the Hummel (so far) is the only WW2 Ground vehicle we’re getting in this next major update. Just let that sink in. We have gotten more GOONER TANKS in this Senrai maidens update, then we’re getting WW2 tank in a MAJOR update. I mean this was the perfect time to add other WW2 SPHs like the M7 and the British one (forgot its name) and then maybe move the M44/M55 out of low tier. But no all were getting in the Hummel (yet again grateful for). I just want the devs to consider giving WW2 as much love as they give the modern era and Cold War era. So please gaijin! Look on the forums! People like Ghostmaxi are making tons of good suggestions for WW2 German vehicles and there’s plenty of other suggestions for the other nations!
You know they add vehicles based on the gaps for lineups and the proportional amount for the tiers, there are actually more vehicles at low tier than top tier so they’re just filling it in.
And please put in some spaces.
They found out that modern stuff is way more popular than ww2.
Well, nobody plays WWII anymore. Once they grind out to modern vehicles, almost no one comes back. So why should they care about it?
Cool, the last thing Japan got was the Ho-Ni II.
The only things we’ve been getting are boats for a game mode with the lowest player population. I’m glad that the G4M1 is getting a new model, but come on, Gaijin, you can do better.

It’s pretty clear that the general interest is in modern vehicles, you just have to look at how much discussion they get.

This update we got the Hungarian subtree, almost full with decently unique WW2 aircrafts.

Last update for ground vehichlea we got a Ho-Ni, before that a Ram and now a Hummel. Slowly but surely we are getting there. As a WW2 enjoyer I’m satiesfied as long as we get techtree vehichles. Let the modern vehichle fans enjoy they 70 dollar toys with classified armour…
Not just more popular, but far more profitable. Why release a $30 dollar WW2 premium when you can do a skin of a “not” top tier vehicle and sell it for $80?
If they wan’t to make WW2 profitable, then the only option is a splitted research tree. Depending on the execution, it could be a good thing.
ww2 is busted anyway, I fight cold war vehicles in my Tigers.
Hmm odd there’s thirteen machines of the second world war period being added, if we go off the title, yet the rambling once more divergences to complaining about GF & tanks, maybe that’ll be a better title why no WWII tanks instead of what’s typed.
Face it GF players it’s the June update & usually is an NF update (where we’re seeing the most second world war equipment added), maybe in the second dev server we may see further additions or we’ll see such in the next update instead.
Gaijin systematically pushes the players to the top tier.
They don’t want peoples choose at what rang stop to progress.
They put modern vehicles in the WW2 vehicles BR to ruin the immersion. Same for the maps - modern maps for low BR vehicles.
If you like modern vehicles - it’s not a problem. You just fight against undeveloped tribal running on 100 years old vehicles. You feel almighty.
Hummel is just a Nashorn with a different gun.
It’s very sad that we haven’t gotten other WW2 SPGs together with it.

Dude. Rank VII+VIII got 6 TANKS in all of 2025, and another 6 in all of 2024. 12 tanks in 2.5 years, only of which 2 are Rank VIII and half of which were Premiums.
I assure you there’s been WAY more WW2 content in that timeframe.
This is the FIRST update finally bringing a few more Rank VIII MBTs since December 2023, back when Rank VIII was introduced and then forgotten for 2.5 years up until now.
I agree mr snail need add more WWII tanks / aircraft i personal only care and love WWII tanks / planes.
