The lack of love for WW2 Ground Vehicles

Still waiting on the wealth of American WW2 prototypes, including some of the neat AA vehicles…

I agree that WW2 additions are becoming increasingly scarce in comparison to modern vehicles, but that’s simply because it’s what the most money gives. They’re going to eventually find themselves in the situation where they can’t keep going forward, and I wonder what will happen then.

And it’s insane how much time it takes for them to add a single vehicle that has been requested for years, while back then they could bring you an entirely new TT with the same waiting period.

To me it’s all become a giant cash cow. More top tier premiums and more C&P, with the lowest effort in order to get more profit. WW2 simply doesn’t interest them as much anymore, because it doesn’t give them enough (they only visited it briefly with those triple vehicle reskin packs and called it a day, that’s all what they care for).

I’m thankful for the Hummel, but we need more. Not only Germany, but every other nation too.

We need that one!!! That’s so funny looking and it looks like it’d be a pretty good AA for America!

Copium

Tigers and ME262s could always fight cold war vehicles from the very beginning… See M46, T-54.

I don’t think Gaijin has forgotten about WW2 stuff. The problem is that the ones left to add are all pretty unique and would require completely new models, so they’re on the back burner for now. That said, they are putting way too much effort into modern vehicles.

top tier is where the money is. if ww2 had a popularity rebirth then we would finally see a luchs

A fast light tank other than the bulldog would be great. 6.7 germany is just pain.

Not true.

I play ww2 almost exclusively.

How little?
14 BRs, 4 vehicle types.
Average vehicles per update is up to 52.

6 BRs are WW2, so ~20 vehicles max across naval, fixed wing, & ground.
So far for next major, we’re getting ~15.

Also they can’t move M44s without moving Hummel, the only notably difference is mobility.

Hmm, I sure do wonder at what Rank most top premium packs are located. Surely that has no influence on the ready n’ waiting list at all…

I think the picture can be explained with a certain russian vehichle. But we shall not say it’s name, it has enough threads on this forum already.

ONLY?

Highly doubt the Hummel will have optics = to M44. Even Tiger 2 does not.

Hummel’s mg is likely chasis-mounted mg 34 as opposed to pintle mounted .50 cal. But in the Hummel video on announcement thread I don’t see any mg.

Not sure how they can place Hummel in Rank 2 with access to Pzgr 39 TS shell. Seems odd…

Hummel doesn’t seem to get a MG. the M44 will be much better than the Hummel, and if the buff the M55s reload rate, it’ll be fine to go up in BR.

Not even an issue.

WW2 air combat also needs a total revamp. The way and how easily even big planes break into 1-2-3 or even 4 pieces is rediculous. Show me a single plane which doesn’t break into pieces after half a second cal 50 burst or something. Exploding bombs in you bomb bay are the next idiocy.

All of WT is point and click nowadays. Same for ground mechanics.
