Q for the ICE pilots:
Do you guys have a functional, correct HUD? with all that good symbology and all?
Could you elaborate whenever you mean if its buggy or historically accurate?
If you mean if its buggy, I havent noticed anything out of the ordinary.
RWR displays threats, radar display targets, gunsight works once EEGS is engaged, fuel counter shows remaining time correctly.

I’m just looking rather sad in my Sea Harrier when I have incorrect (or non-existent) symbology and wondered if the F-4F got the same treatment

Ah, I see.
AFAIK it is as accurate as one can be with game limitations, but im sure there are more knowledgable people on the topic.
Not home right now to make comparison, but I can screenshot it and post it here and we can look it up.
At least until those knowledgable people show up.

There was discussion about that during dev server for current update
AFAIK, Germany did not upgrade the HUD. So analog one was retained

They were stuck with FG.1 and FGR.2 until addition of South African Gripen
As opposed to germany having IR only F-4F late until the addition of MiG-29A? :p

That’s not bait we all are just tired of watching german main crying about F-4F ICE. UK has Tornado F.3 late plane with the same case, great fox-3, good radar but poor flight performance. You just have to understand that aircraft is different than for example F-15C.

They could possibly get a Swiss Hornet but where would it go?
Because if they had introduced the F3 Late earlier, the only difference between it and the basic F3 would have been the radar and aim9m, and it still wouldn’t have been a top tier material.
