While every other nation in the game has a jet at 13.7, the German tech tree completely lacks one. Also, its highest tiered jet, the F-4F KWS LV doesn’t really belong at 13.3. Sure, it gets AMRAAMS, but what else does it have going for it? It has a terrible turn time, is way slower than the competition, and a glorified AIM-9L. So, your only real competitive jet near top tier is a 13.0 mig-29, which is alright. What im saying is Germany NEEDS a top tier jet next update.

At this point there’s no minor nation you could shove into germany or an Aircraft that isn’t Typhoon. It’s unfortunate that Germany got the short end of the stick but I can’t really say anything that isn’t “It is what it is”.

EDIT: if this is a thing the addition won’t be many to begin with. we’re at best expecting another F-5, FA-18C and basically nthing else unless we count past swiss aircraft.

There is literally a union of german speaking countries germany is a part of consisting of austria, Switzerland and germany. Austria bein annexed in ww2 makes it a far less messier addition than adding the netherlands to germany which many suggested. So you would have the netherlands fighting on the axis side in ww2 battles… Whcih eould have been a mess. Same.issue with poland.

There wasn’t really anything unique in the benelux planes for france either. It was to fill gaps in the techtree, exactly what this is going to be.

You’re saying this while other nations also went about a year before getting a vehicle that was also at top tier.

The Austrian J35F has Sarh and aim 9L. Its the most unique draken.
And only 4 missiles
Additionally it doesn’t fill any gaps currently in the german tree

yeah that’s gonna be interesting. Germany is due for a new planes anyway, their top tier and 9/0 upwards to this day has been quite neglected.
But gaijin also just killed the Saab 35XS so they could add it as a new prem for sweden. Regardless im not a gaijin employee so i dont decide what comes or not.
right… but we’d have to take the risk anyway.
Id rather see Austria get the canada treatment. Honestly my only big gripe with germany is that they dont need a full subtree. Rather just a few vehicles to patch holes. If anything we just have to wait and see what gaijin has plans. This isnt the first time ive played a nation that didn’t get a competitive fighter so ill just wait and see whats to come.(though if gaijin adds paper vehicles please add the Mako)
With all due respect, germany doesnt “NEED” anything, sure the F4F ICE isnt peak meta, but its still a decent aircraft from what ive seen, plus there is only one spot that germany would actually benifit from a subtree which is top tier right now, and that gap can easily be filled probably by the end of the year by the first Typhoons, and arguably the DA.1 with worse engines could come either with or without AMRAAMs to fill a top tier gap

Let me just ask, what is going to happen when they add F-35s and most nation don’t have them?
My point is that not every nation needs vehicles at every single BR.
