The Kugelblitz's PzGr.H components need to be fixed

HVAP/HEI/HEI, this bullet chain is repugnant. When you’re attacking ground targets, it’s difficult to endanger any vehicle that isn’t in the hangar with too low an AP concentration. While when you going to anti air, not only is the HEI concentration lower than the M.Gr., but also the HVAP changes your scale making it impossible to correctly judge the fall of the HEI.
In fact, Germany has acquired a pure HVAP-T bullet chain at RB6.0. Kugelblitz in BR 7.0, why can’t we have a pure HVAP bullet chain?
Some SPAA with insufficient anti air performance were used mainly as TDs, which were able to get closer to the line of battle to protect the frontline area from CAS threats, and the Kugelblitz’s slow elevating mechanism fit the mold.
Even now, Kugelblitz is still using the API to protect himself; the increased depth of penetration of a pure HVAP doesn’t increase it’s RB, and even if it did go from 7.0 to 7.7, it would actually make no difference to the Germans who don’t have a 7.0-7.3.
Even removing HVAP outright is an option - better than looking at HVAP/HEI/HEI as if it were a joke.

The M.Gr. belt should do for anti-air isn’t it? That said both removing it’s HVAP-T and lovering to 6.7 or adding a full belt of it and increasing it’s br could benefit the vehichle. German 6.7 could use an Spaa, and the Maus line-up could benefit from a WW2 era light-tank shredder. To be honest I already use it for the latter role.

With the addition of Luchs, Germany already has three usable light-tank shredders in BR 7.7 (not counting the Mardar1 A1 without the DM63), and 7.7 is a bit of an overflow(Also got PZH today). If RB 6.7 can’t work with pure HVAP-belted Kugelblitz, deleting the HVAP to lower the weights would be the more rewarding option - 6.7 Kugelblitz can still go to 7.7 and use the same API as now for AT belts.

It should be 6.7 the way it is or buff its AP belts and leave it where it is.

Does they get better with the top shell, I stopped spading the wiesel because it’s stock belt was so bad. Compared to the Btr 80… They seem useless.

Before the the DM63 the rh202 gun was torturous, but it was still usable after acquiring the APDS. Even not likely to match a 30 machine gun like the BTR or fox, it can still quickly vaporize light armours.
In fact, the common XM800T used APDS that is almost identical to the German DM63 depth of penetration, so you should be able to understand the effectiveness of this gun (but it’s pretty much unusable without APDS)
Basically, the Wiesel is the XM800T without stabilisers, without armour, but smaller in size.

Than there is still hope, for me I might try to spade it again

Not to rain on your parade or something… but you are an Anti Air

SPAA isnt anti tank. If an SPAA can easily kill a tank at its BR it shouldn’t be at that BR or have the AP removed

Role: Self-Propelled Anti-Air. → Anti-Air
Weapon Origin: Anti-Tank Guns.
Classification: Medium Tank.

So you’re correct.
Besides that onto what the original poster wrote. I couldn’t understand a word.

the tldr is “anti aircraft should not be able to kill any tanks in battles”

shit like the falcon and ZSU 57 2 are unfair to fight and worsen the game

you should spade the wiesel, god its actually some of the most fun you can have in this game, running around at mach jesus and shredding any light with apds

ok tbf the ZSU-57-2 is a horrid SPAA, and Gaijin themselves said its best to use as a TD (how to play on vehicles with the soviet mauler - youtube)

The Mk 103 was designed as dual purpose both AA and AT

Classification is SPAA - Flakpanzer

still a bit insane that every one other than the Chinese one is at 7.0 tho, give them their proxy shells and put them to 8.0 and id image they would become pretty good SPAA

I’m sorry but who decided SPAA can’t fight tanks? Is this an unwritten rule I was never told about? Or are people just salty that SPAA isn’t a defenseless free kill? Because that’s all it ever seems like. If you want people to play AA, they need to be at least somewhat useful against tanks, since that’s what they are up against 90% of the time, and planes are not guaranteed to show up, and what do they do when the planes are gone/defeated?

If you cant manage to defeat an SPAA, the vehicles that are usually the most prone to overpressure, easily killed by a .50 cal and sometimes even a .30 cal, then you just need to learn to play.

The proxy shells were a chinese-unique thing, though the finns did have a variant with proxy shells as well. (And radar to boot)

rules get bent for certain vehicles to get better shells all the time, seems unfair to lock the best of a russian tank to only one variant

The shells were a specifically chinese-developed variant, and I for one see no problem with just them having it. The normal ZSUs are fairly fine where they are anyways, as good TDs at 7.0.

People really crying about SPAA in tanks and MBTs when they put themselves in such situations LMAO.

While I admit there are some that are unfairly placed, like the 57-2, the kugel is one of them, albeit being on the victim side.
The 57-2 and similar vehicles (even kugel) should be restricted in the amount of AT ammo they can carry.
One belt is enough. The Gepard is already restricted to 40 rounds across 2 guns, and since IRL SPAA crews don’t go out tank hunting, this change would encourage people to only use the AT ammo defensively.

Meanwhile, this change will also allow the kugel to go down to 6.7 (where it actually has a br based lineup to support) and still have an AT belt that isnt neutered like it is right now. I’m thinking 2 x HVAP, 1 x HE.

This change will obviously require more thought put into it and may even require each SPAA to be looked at separately. But for balance, this is what is required.
