typing 83 shows Ki83 only, typing Ki will show anything starting with Ki, even if Kitsune was something else in the game.
Nerfing and buffing vehicles is not the way. It’s already ruined the game play when people won’t try to be better or learn about what they are doing. It’s lazy.

I would settle for an engine thermodynamic buff tbh. MEC takes a toll to the already bad top-speed and is also incredibly vital for it to endure past early-game.

Gun fragging varies drastically between clients. For the most part they don’t do anything, just like nowadays my MG151/20 one taps anything with the tracer rounds belt while many people is struggling with most of the belts available

Literally anything lmao. Ki83 at 4.7 with ground spawn is still going to struggle. The ki83 is surprisingly easy to deal with.
Okay, just got out of 4 matches with it, lost 2 won 2. So far the plane’s average, but the P-51H spam was annoying, and the teams are incredibly anemic, save for the last two which had actual good players.
Guns are nice. Ripped enemies on a 0.5-1s burst.
I don’t think it should go down, the plane’s still well off. The P51H problem is universal and the jets I saw were mostly U4’s and 162’s. I met an F80 at the first game but my team got clapped easily.
This and the J5N1 are really average heavy fighters imo. I feel like the J5 could go down a half step. Even though I main the P-38K, it’s criminal that its higher than it— even though the 38K is better than both the Ki and the J5.

I guess I lucked out on my session. Though I ripped a Yak-3U with a burst and he still managed to limp. I had to commit to even get him. Fuckin hell that plane.
I highly doubt that, but I have gut feeling since its engine might explode without MEC before you break 4km.

Dude the Ki-83 is actually bad, not bait, it’s literally got zero syndrome, just because people try super low speed dogfights against it and lose doesn’t make it good, besides, the Zero at least keeps its manoverability even at high speeds whereas the Ki does not, seriously every hornet i’ve faced loses because they try dogfighting but the fact is that SPEED matters more and the Ki 83 is super slow seriously.

there’s nothing average at 6.0, either gunships or UFOs, and the ki83 is neither of these. People go bananas when an aircraft has good initial climb rate but forget about how enemies that go faster can mitigate that by transforming kinetic energy into potential energy (altitude) in ways that laugh at the ki83’s 40 meters per second climb rate at 270 IAS. Put this right: the ki83 is literally slower than spitfires a whole rank lower. Yes, it accelerates very good but does it matter? It’s like saying that a red bull aerobatic prop has insane thrust weight ratio and acceleration, which it does, but it ain’t gonna catch up an Airbus A380 which goes 600kmh quicker.
you should shall challenge yourself to play the ki83 instead. Because you haven’t touched a single twin prop japanese plane.

As Ta-152H user, I find Ki-83 post 30mm nerf (nowadays it’s just a glorified 20mm thx to real sh*tter 3.0) one of the easier 6.0 planes to fight.
With Yak-3U at 5.7 I see no reason for Ki-83 to sit that high.
3U (and VK) should be 6.0, 83 should go to 5.7, 5.3 could be too low IMO.

i say ki83’s real main issue is how disgusting slow it is, it’s literally slower than many of the merlin spitfires at 4.7 plus. The same happens for the n1k2’s, they’re supposedly high alt fighters that are still 1kmh slower than the lf mk9 at 6km of altitude and still perform much worse than it in terms of accel and MER.
