1st pic looked like metal shine behind the seeker. We sure they don’t just paint the whole thing over? I mean the pic looked kinda too far away to look at the detail. Why don’t they move closer? whole thing looks shady marketing to me.

They didn’t want to lose radar missile count when going from the F-4EJs to their new plane, so it had to carry at least 4 Sparrows. GD had already prototyped the attachment points on the landing gear doors, so that was included in the proposal.
