I find it funny to see your photoshop posts after you liked this post. You’ve seen a million photoshops but you haven’t seen “average speed” in the brochure.
No where near as unbalanced
Like the israeli chaparral? Which hsd its smokeless missiles “broken”(we all know it was intentional) and then was promptly downtiered?
id say u got a bad sense o humour lol
(context: hes questioning the 38MTs high top speed especially how it more or less remains so damn fast up till impact whereas the average speed listed in the brochure is lower which means that the missile should slow down a fair bit more)
i didnt look at the stats. only the image since thats kinda what this thread is trying to find. (proof of imaged Kh-38MTs)
3000 kh38mte of war thunder forums
Outlines of the ground and parts of the aircraft itself can be seen as well. Imagine photoshopping something that’s already in your possession in it’s physical form, doesn’t make any sense to me.
@Zannafrancy12
If something gets broken it might go down in BR.
You thinking it’s done intentionally is a whole different story.
No, they are clearly misinterpreting average speed for it’s maximum one.
Poster literally asked where did Gaijin get it’s top speed of 750m/s or M2.2 from, when it says it’s speed is around 380m/s in the brochure.
The same poster tried to claim KH-29 missiles are overperforming with their maximum speed, while citing Wikipedia sentence that has “citation needed” added to it. On the same page you can find different speed values that align with what is in the game.
its most definetly intentional, its had its smokeless missile broken for months, and then they downtier it instead of fixing it? its pretty obvious, but thats besides the point.
Thats why i recommend researching on ELA a bit more before you make such conclusions.
Simple bright lines in such a case mean nothing but if there is a collection or a brightness in a particular area of interest. That shows that there is a high Likelihood of editing. Not to mention the squares that are seen.
If they are then thats on them.
I told u what i assumed.
Id remove my like on them if they thought that but i cant since its too old.
And you know for a fact that bug is easily fixable within a reasonable time frame. Just as a reminder, Gaijin took their sweet time to fix much more impactful bugs.
@Armen_Lozone
That patch of grass could be edited in.
It also doesn’t explain why they would do something like that as after all, the mockup has been proven to be built.
Photoshopping that instead of just mounting it on a plane makes no sense, especially as the whole body of the missile is the same as of 38ML which is definitely real, so mounting mechanism is already built and functional.
The mere mention of 750m/s (M2.2) is enough to see they are talking about maximums, as it’s pretty obvious that speed being the average doesn’t make sense. But anyways, that’s not the issue.
Also seeing half a dozen people liking the Wikipedia source is also a worrying part.
I feel nasty by even calling that a source, as it’s nothing more than an anecdote written without anything to back it up, so it has the same weight to it as the random forumer stating KH-29 can reach speeds up to M4.5 or something.
Images from the brochure look like there were taken with Adobe Scan, which is why it has the brightening effect on the white areas.
No brightening effect;
Spoiler
Brightening;
So the document won’t be an original photo, and that’s not a great tact to take.
So its just as?
I mean i get that the image isnt a very good proof but would the image be really showing a 38mt?
Let’s see full context from wiki.

The communication intent is often to distract from the content of a topic, The goal may also be to question the justification for criticism and the legitimacy, integrity, and fairness of the critic, which can take on the character of discrediting the criticism, which may or may not be justified.
Where in this text did I accuse you of anything ?
This is common sense that Strela-10M2 is not equal or inferior to Stinger missile it is better and any one can agree on that why in similar situation with AIM-9M vs Igla inferior missile wins in your logic ?
Why.
Lol theres no point
Rn i have around 2 possibilities:
- Photoshop
- inert hanging mockup/training missile
Maybe gunjob can shed more light onto this (no pun intended lol)
(Pun very much intended)
Yeah I wouldn’t pursue the image being faked, as the photos aren’t original as the brightening effect alters them but makes the text much more readable and fixes issues with lighting/reflectivity of the pages.
With all the evidence presented I’m confident in the weapon existing in some form now, and at the very least there is now enough evidence for it to be in game.
He talks about the maximum speed of 2.2 Mach = ~750 m/s, which is indicated in the characteristics of the rocket in the game. But he did not even read “average speed” and you liked this post even without looking at the brochure.
I see you trying to find a little photoshop in this picture, but you couldn’t see “average speed” in the brochure.
The same reason why the already fully built mockup would be photoshopped in instead of just, you know, being mounted ?
What part of the brochure/images made you believe that ?
Yes its called tunnel visioning.
Do you want an apology?
Im sorry.
There.
Can a guy not skim past stuff hes not interested in?
It listed the other missiles.
Therefore its a possibility.
But lets assume that youre right, im wrong, it does exist. Or did at some point.
The current in game implementation is bonkers and unreal
