The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

This REALLY makes me wanna quote Smin and ask why the Kh-38MT exists in-game then, seeing as there is no evidence of it ever being used, or being functional in the first place…

I dont think F&F Brimstones (or F&F ground attack munitions in general) are healthy for the game, and personally believe they should be relegated to air modes only, but gaijin strictly adhering to reality with NATO at the expense of game balance, while just taking an “anything goes” attitude with the Kh-38MT and seemingly Russia in general is annoying

You quite literally did, multiple times.
You stated 38MT is overpowered since it’s much better than anything else, hence it’s unbalanced. I told you that same logic can be applied to all-aspect missiles down in BRs where entry-level IR missiles are common.

Your answer to this was claiming that the subsonic bricks are “somewhat balanced” which is something you could only say if you took your time and looked at the whole package. This is something you never done in your reasoning about 38MT and it’s carriers being OP.

Sorry but we have to disagree on that one.

I wasn’t even talking about A-10C.
Those all-aspect missiles were just an easy-to-find example of how pointing fingers at something and claiming it’s OP without looking at everything is foolish.

6x 65Ds + TGP + 4x 9Ms is a pretty nice loadout at 12.0.
That thing is probably the best CAS at it’s BR already.

No, I’m against changes that remove things from a certain vehicle which were basically a reason to add it to the game in the first place.

That’s like removing a powerful HEAT shell from a low tier vehicle which has exactly that as it’s selling point. At that point it’s addition would be pretty much useless.

There’s a difference between adding weaponry with a well established and plausible type of seeker it might not have been combined with and making up one that’s physically impossible. The statement he makes is correct, the diffraction limit necessitates LOAL for longer ranged mmW radar guided munitions.

And what type of SPAA did the AH-1Z go up against? Shilkas and Gepards without radar that had their bullets despawn at 3 km. But that doesnt fit the narrative, so you ignore it.

Behold the privilege of the IvanBoo - Able to be both the most skilled and the most garbage player in the whole game. Changing their argument depending on whichever is most convenient at the time.

Evoking past Rus-main traumas and glaring gameplay design oversights to justify having broken stuff in the present is not a sound argument. You’d think Gaijin would learn not to make the same mistake again? Don’t shift the burden to the player.

Anywho’s, no evidence has been found so far, and this thread is due over for a developer or CM response.

Still drives me nuts that they never removed IOG for balance

Imagine Gaijin following their own rules for vehicle and weapon system implementations…

Looks at 2S38 and Kh-38MT aswell as Russian navy tree.

Oh right…

How convenient they both bent and ignored their own rules to the benefit of only one nation.

Naval has different rules to Air and Ground and since they finally fixed the Kronstadt, its fine. Scharnhorst remains the pain in the butt ship. Its prescedence is the saving grace for multiple nations to try and fight Yamato, Bismark and Iowa. Like Britains G3 Class

But Yak-141, 2S38 and KH-38MT are all BS

Sure, but they changed the rules after the act. Not before.

That’s the thing people forget so flagrantly, and we should not ever let Gaijin try to sweep it under the rug.

Gaijin continues to hide in their holes like rats while Kh-38MT absolutely steamrolls top tier. Disgraceful behavior, but it’s to be expected at this point. No less cowardly, though.

heh and you forgot MI-35 which doing the same as AH-1Z lol

Those two quotes make me want to punch my monitor (no harsh feelings towards Smin, he’s just the messenger)

The only thing that sets Brimstone and Kh-38MT apart is LOAL found on Brimstones, IOG might as well act as poor man’s implementation of mmW since it can still track and hit with accuracy through smoke and even if it misses by a few meters the large warhead is enough to overpressure anything.

It still baffles me they allowed this but not Brimstones with a basic FnF seeker.

Remember now, and this is extremely important…

The Brimstones aren’t Russian.

Yep. Their long speel about Brimstones being too OP in the exact same update they added the Su-34 was a slap in the face to the entire community. Now its come out the KH-38MT doesnt even exist. Just makes the whole situation worse.

Their entire argument for denying Brimstones is based largely off misconceptions and what is left as you said, applies to the KH-38MT 99% of the time.

And why oh why, we dont even get Brimstone 2s limited to SAL-Only is beyond me. Technically the Typhoon never used Brimstone 1s

And lets not forget that the moment you move out of the smoke the missile will reacquire you and kill you, seriously, this is just next level gaslighting from Gaijin.

or just fly straight through and the warhead is big enough to kill most of the time anyway. Even with a miss

Yeah. Good luck doing that with the Mavs.

Oh, right… You can’t.

I dissagree, I think all planes with kh38MT should move up to 14.3 at least in ground rb

we could probably bug report it

given that there is no evidence that the Kh38MT has IOG

They’ll ask for a document stating that it doesnt have IOG

might be worth a try anyway
