And the KH-38MT and the planes that fire it don’t exist in a vacuum. For it to be “OP” it needs to vastly outmatch the competition. People prefering to play the competition indicates that the platform you’re complaining about isn’t as good as you think.

That affected most TGPs and was due to some weird switching between the internal camera and the TGP, I think. It was a problem for SALH munitions, not much for F&F ones. On top of the Gr.7 being very unique and strong back then you could get into it without ever spawning a tank by using the AH Mk.1 with Starstreaks as first spawn. And other nations had nothing comparable at all.
yet in all my games at top tier recently every match has had Su30SM and Su34s yet I barely see Refales on both my team and the enemy team curious

that worked IF the enemy had several light tanks or SPAA, not to mention not everyone who has the Gr7 has the AH Mk1 hell I still dont have it because the heli grind is awful, it only got better with the ability to research helis with ground vics and by then the age of the harrier dominating was over.
and look at it now the only heli that cant spawn with any form of A2A weapons immediately
Have you been around long enough to remember a lot of people complaining about the G.91 R/3 being OP and ruining top tier?
The TGP issues were not that restrictive, and fixed soon enough. Again, it was without any competition for a year, some teething issues hardly take away from that. And while the Starstreaks are limited to use against lightly armored targets it’s not like anyone else had anything comparable either.
it honestly just sounds like your going after 2 of the better things the UK has gotten over the years to try and get a reaction out of me which, cant blame you its probably funny to watch issue is that I know thats what your trying to do and I do agree back when they were good they were strong, but that was awhile ago now you could at least try to say something the UK currently has is OP or unfair

I’m not going after it. I originally brought it up and asked if that having happened was bias. And the answer is that of course it wasn’t. The top tier CAS crown has been going around since the inception of GRB, and people get so hung up on the current state of it that they forget all previous instances.
It was easy and reliable to use, so it quickly became the mainstay of top tier CAS. People got killed by it a lot, which led to complaints. People complaining caused more awareness, and more people jumping on the train to use it. Which led to more complaints.
What got lost to a lot of them was that the FJ-4B VMF 232 had been in the game far longer than the G.91 R/3 and was arguably better at the job. So the “problem” people complained about wasn’t really that the G.91 R/3 was the strongest or most OP platform. It was that it was super common and got a lot of kills.
The same is happening with IIR F&F AGMs and the KH-38MT, really. They’re all too strong for GRB, and in the current state of it a 30 second absence of hyper aware CAP and SPAA is punished with a single plane wiping half the ground team in a single pass.
The KH-38MT slingers are the easiest to use with the lowest skill ceiling, so people play that, you see a lot of kills with them, people complain about that. And all the other vehicles that can do pretty much the same thing with a slightly different use profile fall off the back. The main issue isn’t addressed at all.
As for the Rafale specifically, minor nations always get fewer players, so of course you’re getting killed by it far less often.
dont get me wrong the AGM65 is really good as well, but the differnce is that the KH38MT is better then the AGM65 but there is a good chance the MT isn’t even real when instead we could have gotten the Kh25MTP which is far more akin to the AGM65, do I think the CAS issue will be fixed if the MT is removed? obviously not
I just hope with its removal and the introduction of more potent sams next update it actually gives ground a good chance since they wont have to deal with a mach 2.2 AGM.
which I fully understand I just dont see that as an issue if you rarely see it is it actually an issue? like the VMF you mentioned that thing was an event plane and yeah was incredibly strong when you ran into it but I think I can count on my hand how many times I saw one. not to mention there is a strong chance the Hammers are gonna be heavily nerfed but we will have to wait and see on that one
you do get that the ADATS is a beam riding missile right? So if you pull too hard itll go out of the beam and lose tracking. Its also got less range, is slower and doesnt have any strobelight on the back of the missile so you dont even know where the missile is after around 2km of flight as thats when the booster ends.
Things shouldn’t get hit with the nerf stick only when they’re popular, balancing should be somewhat objective. Same for people calling things overpowered. Just because something isn’t played as often doesn’t mean it should be left unscrutinized.
The maximum range of the IRIS-T SLS is significantly lower than the current maximum TRACK lock distance of IIR AGMs. Not sure about the Chinese thing. It will only be helpful against suicidal approaches that people shouldn’t be taking anyways, and a heavy nerf to planes that need to get in close like the Eurofighter.
It’s focussed at the wrong point. Let’s be honest, the main driving force behind people wanting the KH-38MT removed is annoyance at dying to it, not wanting “historical accuracy”. The KH-38MT getting removed or replaced with the missile you mention wouldn’t change much at all. Making CAS planes spawn on the runway would be a far simpler and broader fix. Instead of asking for something like that people whip themselves up into an inconsequential frenzy about one singular thing that happens to be played often currently and won’t matter at all once the next nation gets the next best thing to shaft tanks with.
Well today its rarely spawned, cause its now almost impossible to kill tanks with AS.20 Nords. They nerfed everything from the once linear trajectory to the HE yield to a point its no issue anymore.
Now the com waits for Gajin to do something similar to KH-38MT. Its just neccessary. Also AS.20 Nord was a real weapon with countless original photos and other sources, while the MT most likely never existed. There’s no footage aviable and even the manufacturer removed it from the website. Now everyone waits for Gajin to remove it as well.
I don’t understand how you can think this. It would stop the ability to fire most if not all your missiles off before anyone can do something about it. Hopefully something is also done about Rafale with HAMMER too.
Would just make spawn camping worse which I don’t think anyone wants and at best just delay them a insignificant amount.

I noticed it as well. There are KH’s and the Hammers. Everything else is super meh. Especially the Eurofighter is barely worth the 800-900 spawn points, as well the the F-15E.
These general nerfs to CAS spawns just hurt the weak CAS planes too much, while Suchois are still worth to be spawned. They could even up the costs to 1000 spawn points and Suchois would be still worth to be spawned, while a EF2000 without any F&F option is imho barely worth 600 sp, but costs the same as the russian top dogs.
You may also notice that EF2000, F15 etc are rarely spawned (remember its all EFs combined, so per nation its likely just 200+ in this figure). Thats imho the best indicator: Players spawn whats op and tend to totally ignore whats meh. Thats what you see here. Superior player numbers for russian jets and nothing at all for everyone else.
