It is proposed to remove the Kh-38MT, but introduce realistic guidance for the Kh-38ML, when they are guided by 1-2 drones per 1 missile, then the missiles can be launched from 20-40 km.
Buddy lasing does not exist though in game and so that wont be added.
Otherwise we could have Harrier Gr3s at 9.7 dropping GBUs
Any S1 that dies to Mavs is their own skill issue, flat out. The missile is so easily intercepted firing less than 3 at an S1 at a time is basically a waste.
Would be funny tho
It would. Crazy OP though, but hilarious nonetheless
Imagine that but xD harrier floats past and theres already a GBU at your doorstep
For how much fun it will be, because they will remove the stupid outdated guidance, it will even be possible to add Hermes missiles for launches at 100 km
Bang on man bang on
you do not want buddy lasing, imagine an f16 30km from the battlefield guiding hellfires from an apache fully in cover
Try actually playing it then?
38mt already doing that
moar slightly related messeges, gotta get this thread to 10k
not really
it can self lase missiles from their but with buddy lasing stuff like helis could be perfectly safe behind terrain with an ally 30km away lasing for them
Can’t do anything better that projecting your own issues ? I didn’t cried a river of 6000 messages that landed on first pages of google search.
What is this then ? On Algerian MiG-29M
it kind of is, it has a jet engine
mini cruise missile vs. glide bomb. if they made GBU-53 have GPS+IR+Laser but SPEAR 3 have only GPS+Laser (they get rid of MMW for both) it would be pretty fair
Is this supposed to be some sort of flex?
The T-220 is the best they can come up with after decades and getting Damocles from the French. And it’s still basically unobtainium from what I have seen.
Really want to keep going with this?
Cool but were not talking about your personal prefernces it’s about can they make one or not this thing exist whether you like it or not.
Exactly, and it certainly seems like they can’t (likely without access to French IR sensors), given despite the evidence of testing, it has not proliferated enough to be commonplace. Meanwhile the fantasy KH-38MT is effectively using one of these as a disposable missile seeker…
Yeah… A couple exist, decades late and out of date to finally surpass the integrated systems they had to rely on for a fraction of the capability of the rest of the world.
