I also think they’re are able to relock. I died too often while driving out of my smoke to escape the blast radius as well. Its a 250 kg / 500lb bomb, with mach2, smoke immune, self homing, more range than all opposing SAMs … and this 6x. Crazy. Other nations have to fiddle with Heat warheads, which rarely kill an MBT. While russia shots nukes, with guaranteed kill radius of like 10m and splash kill damage vs lights of 120m ^^

It’s funny that you forget that most of russia’s birds don’t have targetting pods, so they can’t simply turn away from the battlefield and maintain a laser lock from safety like their NATO rivals can. Most need to keep flying right down the barrels of anti-aircraft fire.

Top tier gameplay at is finest. The fact that you can spawn a Su-30/34 and potentially a Ka-52 back to back with no penalty is seriously stupid.
It’s not even a question of “if” it exists anymore, it must be removed because of how disruptive to balance it truly is.

Well the target pods I know lose lock when you turn away. What game are you playing? You can try to fly perpendicular to the battlefield, but even then you tend to lose lock. Laserlocks are just not really working at top tier. Pantsir is too good. Its great between the 10-11 BR bracket. But above that its just junk. GNSS is your best bet, when you don’t have F&F.
They ones you need to fly into range of because your need to guide the missile until impact and your designator only lets you turn left or right a handful of degrees. It is blindingly apparently that you haven’t done any laser CAS with planes like the Su-25/Su-24/Su-34.
Try again. The pods hold lock just fine so long as you don’t exceed the gimbal limit of the pod. Things like the A-6E’s desginator have ludicrous coverage and basically let you turn around completely, but other pods like the lantirn pods still let you stand off far better than you can with the designators on planes like the Su-25/Su-24/Su-34

SPAA at 13.0 even panstir are a nonfactor to any decent CAS player.
Thankfully we have CAP with fox 3 that can shut anything down trying to guide stuff in, problem is CAP only costs like 100 less sp than CAS so its not always an option players have access to counter CAS.
Though in my expierence playing russian CAS at top tier 80% of the time im immedietely lit up by airspawn camping f16. But since im already in range i just sling my kh38 and then dont really care if aim120 kills me 10 seconds later because ive already won.

CAP still cant handle kh38mt carriers, there is not enough time which is cringe because there is literally no counter

Ya thats what I pointed out in the last paragraph.
I rarely see anything flying than Suchoi jets or sometimes Rafales imho. Its always just my perspective, but I can’t confirm this air spawn camping F-16 theory. Especially since AIM120 equipped jets cost almost as much as CAS jets with KH ordnance. Its not like there’s a chance to scramble Aim120 jets before the Suchois appear^^
Also the time window is too short. When I airspawn camp, most suchoi players launch all 6 KH’s before you’re able to shot them down. You don’t have alot time, they spawn and immeadetly press the button for their pod, just seconds later they’re spotting targets and launch 6 missiles in quick succession. Often a glide bomb on top.
